It's a coffee bean canister...
That works well and looks nice next to our stainless steel Breville Duo Temp Pro and Breville Dose Control Pro. It does a good job at keeping the air out and keeping the beans fresh. Money well spent.

Wonderful product to keep the beans fresh for longer. Easy to use and have used it for few weeks now and am loving it. The only thing is the size is slightly too big for my hands, particular when it's full, but that's me only and am happy to hold it with two hands.

Keeps coffee beans fresh
This is my second Breville coffee bean canister. As they only hold 500g and I buy 1kg bags of beans I needed a second option to keep remaining beans fresh. When you open the canister to re-fill the bean grinder, the aroma is magnificent as if you had just opened a fresh bag of beans. I am very happy with my second purchase and thoroughly recommend this product if you are a coffee Connoisseur. This one being black is beautiful.
