Excellent Juicer!
Really happy with this Breville Juice Fountain! It's powerful, easy to use, and makes fresh juice in just a few minutes. It handles different fruits and vegetables really well, and the large feeding chute makes preparation much easier. Cleaning is also quite straightforward. Overall, a great quality juicer and definitely worth the purchase. Highly recommended!

Easy to juice and easy to clean
We love juicing our own fruit and this machine makes it so easy. Throw any fruit you want and it will juice it on seconds but what makes it even more fun is that it's so easy to clean and maintain.

Breville Juice Fountain 900W
The Breville Juice Fountain 900W is widely regarded as one of the best juicers for home use, combining power, efficiency, and ease of operation. Its 900-watt motor delivers impressive speed, allowing it to effortlessly extract juice from both hard and soft fruits and vegetables. The high-speed cutting disc and stainless steel micro-mesh filter work together to maximise juice yield while minimising waste. One of the key features that sets this juicer apart is its extra-wide feed chute, which can accommodate whole fruits and large chunks of vegetables, cutting down on prep time. The two-speed settings provide versatility: a lower speed for softer produce like oranges and berries, and a higher speed for denser ingredients like carrots and apples. Cleaning is made simple with easily removable parts and dishwasher-safe components. In addition to its performance, the Breville Juice Fountain 900W is built with durability in mind and has a sleek stainless steel finish that looks stylish in any kitchen. For anyone who values fresh, nutrient-rich juice without the hassle, this juicer is a top choice.

At a glance
The Breville Juice Fountain 900W is a compact centrifugal juicer designed for fast everyday juice making from fruit and vegetables. It suits singles, couples and smaller kitchens thanks to its space-saving design, 75 mm feed chute and simple cleanup. Its key strengths are quick prep and easy operation, but it is less suited to those wanting the quieter, higher-yield performance of premium slow juicers.
What it’s great for
- Daily juicing
- Quick breakfast prep
- Small kitchen use
- Whole fruit and vegetable juicing
- Low-fuss cleanup
Where it works best
- Apartment kitchens
- Small households
- Family kitchens with limited bench space
- Everyday home use
Who it’s for
- Single adults
- Couples
- Busy households
- First-time juicer buyers
- Health-conscious home users
Things to consider
As a centrifugal juicer, it is generally louder and may produce more froth and slightly lower juice yield than premium cold press or specialist slow juicers.
Juicing variety suitability
Best for firm and everyday fruit and vegetables such as apples, carrots, celery and citrus; less ideal for leafy greens than slow juicers
Ease of cleaning score
8/10 - dishwasher-safe parts and included cleaning brush make cleanup easier for a centrifugal juicer
Family use fit
Best for singles, couples and small families rather than large-volume batch juicing
Noise level vs category
5/10 - typical centrifugal juicer noise, generally louder than slow juicers
Nutrient retention rating
7/10 - good everyday extraction, though centrifugal juicing is typically less gentle than cold press methods
Key benefits
- 900W motor: Delivers strong power for fast juicing of hard and soft fruit and vegetables.
- 75 mm extra wide feed chute: Fits many whole apples and carrots to reduce prep time.
- Compact footprint: Saves bench space and suits smaller kitchens without giving up practical jug and pulp capacity.
- 800 mL juice jug: Provides a practical serving size for one to several glasses in a batch.
- 1.5 L pulp container: Holds a useful amount of pulp before needing to be emptied.
- Stainless steel cutters and micro-mesh filter basket: Support effective juice extraction from firm produce.
- Safety locking arm: Helps ensure the juicer only operates when assembled correctly.
- Dishwasher-safe detachable parts with cleaning brush: Makes post-juicing cleanup simpler and more convenient.
Q: Is this juicer good for leafy greens and wheatgrass?
A: No. Breville BJE200SIL is best with hard and medium produce such as apples, carrots and celery. Centrifugal juicers usually extract less effectively from leafy greens or wheatgrass, so expect lower yield and wetter pulp.
Q: How much juice can it make before the pulp bin fills?
A: Breville BJE200SIL includes an 800ml juice jug and a 1.5 litre pulp container. That suits one or two serves at a time, but fibrous produce can fill the pulp bin sooner, so larger batches will need a pause to empty it.
Q: Is this Breville compact enough for a small kitchen bench?
A: Yes. Breville BJE200SIL measures 24.3 x 22.6 x 40.4 cm, so it suits tighter benches and smaller storage spaces. The pulp container sits within the unit footprint, and the power cord stores under the base.
Q: Will whole apples fit in the feed chute?
A: Yes. The 75mm feed chute is designed to take whole apples and carrots, which cuts prep time for everyday juicing. Very large fruit or produce with thick rind may still need trimming so it feeds cleanly and safely.
Q: Will this juicer be noisy in a small apartment kitchen?
A: Breville BJE200SIL makes the typical motor noise of a centrifugal juicer, so it is not the quietest choice for early mornings. Its 900W motor is designed for fast extraction, and that usually matters more than low-noise operation.
Q: Does the juice come out frothy with this model?
A: Breville BJE200SIL can produce some froth, which is normal for a centrifugal juicer. The included 800ml jug has an integrated froth separator, so it pours more juice and less froth into the glass than a plain jug.
