The Bose SoundLink Max has a great sound and base. Nice feature. On max power though it does tend to drain the battery quickly

Sounds bigger than it is
Great sounding speaker, clear and powerful, weighty solid feel and good battery life, I’ve tried a lot in the shops and never found better. Just make sure you adjust the sound setting a tiny bit in the mobile app, you can greatly improve the mids and lows at lower sound levels there.
