I never thought I’d reach an age where I’d get genuinely excited about a clothes dryer, but apparently here we are. My new Bosch 9kg Heat Pump Dryer has quickly become one of the hardest-working members of the household. It quietly takes a pile of cold, damp disappointment and transforms it into warm, fluffy happiness, while I contribute absolutely nothing to the process. It has plenty of settings, a generous 9kg capacity and, being a heat pump dryer, is considerably more energy efficient than the old-school clothes-incinerating machines of yesteryear. It does take its sweet time, but I’ve decided to interpret that not as “slow” but as “European sophistication.” The only downside is that opening the door and pulling out a load of freshly dried towels has become strangely pleasurable. I now understand why cats sit in warm laundry. Five stars. Things are getting hot in here, and for once that’s exactly what I paid for.

Best Dryer Upgrade
We upgraded our dryer after few years. Comes with handy features like ready for ironing, extra dry. Clothes comes out soft which is pleasantly surprising. I must say, it’s an energy efficient machine.

Who’s the Bosch
This washing machine has taken charge of my laundry. I used to think I was responsible for washing clothes, but apparently I’ve been demoted. The Bosch is now the boss of the laundry. It decides how much attention my clothes need, how long the job will take and when they’re ready to return to active duty. I simply load the machine, press a few buttons and leave the supervisor to get on with it. It runs a tight operation too: efficient, remarkably quiet and no unnecessary workplace drama. Even with a 9kg workload, the Bosch seems completely unfazed. Towels, sheets and clothes are all processed with German-style efficiency. My only concern is that it’s becoming a little too confident. I occasionally walk past the laundry just to remind it who pays the electricity bill. So far, though, performance appraisal: exceeds expectations..

Good machine but expected better
When i put a full load (9kg) to dry it doesnt seem to dry the load within the 5 and a half hours so i have to again do another cycle. Apart from that smaller loads dry fine. Expect to clean the filter each cycle and empty condender
