  We’ve been using the Bosch 9kg Heat Pump Dryer for a while now and it’s easily one of those appliances you forget about because it just quietly does its job. First up, the big win is efficiency. It sips power compared to our old condenser dryer and doesn’t turn the laundry into a sauna. The heat pump tech means clothes come out properly dry without feeling like they’ve been cooked to death, which is great for things like school uniforms, work gear and anything you don’t want shrinking in protest. Capacity-wise, 9kg is plenty for a family. Towels, sheets, mixed loads, no dramas. It handles bulky items better than expected and still dries evenly without that classic “one sleeve wet, the rest bone dry” situation. Noise levels are surprisingly low. You can run it at night without feeling like you’re testing the structural integrity of the house. The controls are straightforward, the programs make sense, and the sensor drying actually works instead of guessing. Maintenance is easy too. The lint filter is simple to clean, and once you get into the habit of checking the condenser filter, it’s no big deal. Build quality feels solid, which is what you’d expect from Bosch. Downsides? The cycles can be longer than a traditional dryer, but that’s the trade-off for efficiency and gentler drying. If you’re in a rush, plan ahead. Also, it’s not cheap upfront, but the lower running costs definitely soften the blow over time. Overall, it’s a reliable, efficient dryer that does exactly what you want without fuss. Set it, forget it, and enjoy not stressing about the power bill. Would I buy it again? Yep. My clothes are happy, my electricity bill is happier, and that’s a win in my books.

  Upgraded to the Bosch 9kg Heat Pump Dryer and it's been excellent. Dries clothes evenly without damaging fabrics, and the heat pump system uses far less power than our old dryer — we’ve noticed the difference on the electricity bill.   Meet my expectations.

  I’ve been using the Bosch 9kg Heat Pump Dryer for a little while now and overall I’m happy with it. The drying time is a bit longer compared to a vented dryer, but that was expected with this type of machine, so no surprises there. I’ve found that using the Cupboard Dry 2+ setting works best to get clothes properly dry. It's gentle on fabrics – no issues so far with delicate items or even with heat transfer vinyl prints, which I was a bit cautious about. It’s also convenient that it came with the drain hose included, so I don’t need to worry about emptying the water reservoir. It runs reasonably quietly, which is a bonus, though I do find it a little annoying having to clean two filters nested inside each other. Still, that’s a small trade-off for the overall performance. All in all, it’s a reliable, efficient dryer that takes good care of clothes and makes laundry day easier

  Money well spent

  I read somewhere that with heat pump dryer your clothes still feel damp when it finish. But with this one my close are dry and softer than ever before, no need for fabric softer so you save your money on electricity, products and it doesn’t ruin your clothes . Win!
