I've been using this dash cam for about a month now and, overall, I'm very happy with it. Installation was straightforward, although I would recommend purchasing the hardwire/battery kit (not sold at The Good Guys) if you want to take advantage of all the available features, such as parking mode. The recording quality is excellent. The footage is sharp and clear during the day, and I was particularly impressed with the front camera at night. For example, I was recently driving in thick fog after dark, and the camera still captured the road ahead far more clearly than I could see with my own eyes. That alone gave me a lot of confidence in the camera's performance. Connecting to the app is quick and easy, although I'm not completely sold on the app itself. I'm not sure how useful the live video view with a map is, I find it a little distracting. I've also noticed that when the app is connected, the rear camera view disappears from the display and only the front camera is shown. The only real issue I've encountered is the speed readout. Even though I've selected km/h and that's what's displayed, the reported speed seems much lower than my actual speed. For example, it shows around 60 km/h while I'm travelling in a 100 km/h zone, and around 35 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. It almost feels like it's calculating in mph but displaying km/h, so I'm not sure if this is a bug or a GPS calibration issue. Overall, it's a great dash cam with excellent video quality. If the speed display issue is fixed, I'd have very few complaints.

Never thouhht We'd need a Dash Cam until we saw an accident happen infront of us. This Uniden pack of front and rear cams was easy to install and use. The recording quality is so clear and the detail is fantastic. Don't forget to buy a Micro SD Card.
