Needed this to extend my network
We hav e a big house with concrete walls. Our annex had its own network which was a bit cumbersome, so had to purchase this. You hook it up to your existing network first as an additional access point. Then I placed it in the annex and hooked up the network cable. Whole house + annex is wired with CAT6 as well
