Extremely fast heating.
Heat cannot be lowered enough for 'water-free' or 'slow-cooking' in my 3ply stainless steel based saucepans, which I love to death. However, I will try a suitable simmer mat for induction cookers. Fingers crossed!! I hope I don't have to give it away. I'm definitely not giving my saucepans away. Also: the 'Pause' choice needs to be considerably longer before turning everything off on me. Otherwise I love it, I'm trying hard to find solutions, Barbara

Heats up SUPER FAST. Just take some time to play with the different cooking modes. It can be a bit confusing at first but once you figure out which ones suit you then its super easy .

I feel like a chef!
I bought this because I am in a rental with a very hard to clean stove. This is ideal, it sits neatly beside my microwave in my tiny kitchen when not in use. Heats up very quickly and easy to use. It is only compatible with a certain type of pan, I just use a magnet, if the pan attracts to the magnet, I can use it on this hotplate.

The Excellent Addition to my Outdoor Kitchen
Replaces an older two plate element hotplate. What a difference. Smaller, compact yet able to handle from the smallest pot to Wok, Broad Frypan to large boiler. Temperature control is fast and precise. Surface cool down is good with a smooth surface making clean-up simple. Highly recommend this hotplate.
