    An Experience Worth Trying

At first I was skeptical, as these headphones are hyped everywhere I looked prior to purchase, with people saying they were revolutionary. So I folded. Here's the good. These headphones offer a unique listening experience, with haptic drivers that add real vibration to the headset, amplifying base feel like nothing else I've tried. The audio quality is good for me (not muddy or tinny), even without the haptics turned up. The battery life seems as marketed (I haven't had to charge them yet), after several hours use, and the connectivity has been seamless. The ear cups also provide a decent seal to block outside noise (as these lack ANC). Now for the wants. These headphones are a tight fit and the cushioning is too rigid for me. I've probably got a big head, but after an hour or two, without a hat/beanie/something in between, I can feel these digging into my head. They stay in place, and don't need readjustment which is nice, but I can definitely feel them on. Also, the ear cups are tight around the ears. Coming from a prior Razer headset, my ears are noticeably more cramped in these, something to be aware of if you like space. And lastly, the adjustable haptic slider, is a cool feature not a gimmick. (I haven't used the app). But, out of the box, the adjustment seems extreme, as it literally controls the vibration of the headset. I found that if set any higher than a quarter, the vibration response degrades the listening experience. When set in moderation, the feel of the vibration definitely enhances the base feel and audio experience. Any higher though and it feels like I have to actively focus on listening to music with a theragun strapped to my head. For ~$250 full price, these headphones seem too much for me; for a discount, well worth the investment. All in all, they are a good headset so far. Build quality is decent, battery doesn't need daily charging, connectivity is seamless, sound is impressive, and the haptics offer an audio experience like nothing else. I would advise trying them on in-store prior to purchase, but would recommend them if you are someone who wants to actually feel a thump when the bass note hits.

These are down right dangerously good. Biggest bottom end ever in headphones. The fit good on my big melon. But best of all they sound brilliant.

    Unique feel

Great sound and feel. Can get a little too hot for gym use. The haptic base can be a bit overstimulating in certain scenarios but there is a slider to adjust this to suit your situation Build quality is solid Overall a great unique headset that not like its competitors

At a glance

The Skullcandy Crusher Evo is a wireless over-ear headphone made for listeners who want strong, adjustable bass and personalised sound for music, movies and commuting. It suits casual users who value long battery life, quick charging and foldable portability. Its biggest strength is its immersive bass experience, but it is not the best choice if you want a neutral, studio-style sound signature.

Things to consider

These headphones focus on powerful bass and personalised listening rather than balanced reference audio, so premium audiophile or noise-cancelling models may suit critical listening or quieter travel better.

Noise cancelling effectiveness

3/10 - no active noise cancelling is listed, so noise isolation depends mainly on the over-ear fit.

All-day comfort score

7/10 - over-ear and foldable for daily use, though bass-focused tuning and full-size design may feel less effortless than lighter premium travel models over very long sessions.

Commuter suitability

8/10 - strong battery life, rapid charge, onboard controls and foldable design make them practical for daily travel, but lack of active noise cancelling is a drawback in louder environments.

Audiophile vs casual fit

Best for casual listeners who enjoy energetic, bass-forward sound rather than neutral audiophile tuning

Multi-device flexibility

7/10 - Bluetooth 5.0 and auto connect support convenient wireless use across common devices, though no advanced multi-point feature is stated.
