Disappointed
Disappointed with the quality of this product. It tastes very average. The capsule is plastic which after buying the Delonghi Nespresso machine it states that aluminium capsules should only be used. I would not buy this product again. The Good Guys should stock Nespresso capsules as they are selling the machines.

9/10 - Cuts through milk well, ideal for lattes and cappuccinos.
Eco-friendliness score
6/10 - Pods are not aluminium, but not fully compostable; some environmental consideration.

Key benefits
- High Intensity: Delivers a strong, full-bodied espresso with an intensity rating of 12.
- Thick Crema: Produces a rich, lasting crema for an authentic café-style experience.
- Milk Compatibility: Designed to cut through milk, making it ideal for cappuccinos and lattes.
- Locally Roasted: Roasted and produced in-house in Australia for freshness and quality.
- Nespresso Machine Compatible: Works with Nespresso OriginalLine machines for convenience.

- Consistent Flavour: Each pod delivers a reliable, robust taste every time.
Q: Will these PODiSTA pods fit a Vertuo coffee machine?
A: No. PODiSTA Intenso pods are made for Nespresso OriginalLine machines only and are not suitable for Vertuo models. If your machine uses the larger dome-style Vertuo capsules, these pods will not lock in or brew correctly.
Q: Are the capsules aluminium or another pod material?
A: These capsules are not aluminium. If your coffee machine's instructions recommend aluminium capsules only, this pack may not be the right match, even if the machine uses the OriginalLine format for pod size and shape.
Q: Do these suit flat whites better than long black mugs?
A: Yes. PODiSTA Intenso is better suited to flat whites, lattes and similar milk coffees because the stronger espresso profile is designed to cut through milk. In a larger black mug, the flavour can taste thinner and less balanced.
Q: Is this blend too strong for milder coffee drinkers?
A: Yes. PODiSTA Intenso is aimed at drinkers who like a bold, full espresso profile, so it can feel too forceful if you usually choose milder coffee. It is a better fit for stronger tastes than for lighter, more delicate cups.
Q: Can this pack make hot chocolate or only coffee?
A: It makes coffee only. Each capsule contains ground roasted coffee, so this pack is for espresso-style coffee drinks rather than hot chocolate or other flavoured café drinks. Choose a dedicated drink capsule if that is what you want.
