Have been using this product after recommended by our dentist and this is a game changer for us! Going electric - Oral B IO Series 3
Dentist suggested getting an electric toothbrush as apparently I’d been brushing a little too hard manually and was causing some gum line issues. Settled on Oral B as it has been around for quite some time and has a good reputation for quality. I am quite happy with my choice of the IO Series 3. It holds its charge very well - at least a week between charges at this stage. It has three different modes of brushing - you kind of have to guess which mode you are in as there isn’t an indicator for this - I’m just going with whatever feels the best. Every 60 seconds it vibrates to let you know how long you’ve been brushing for and if you brush for the full two minutes you will be rewarded with different coloured lights! Most importantly though, this electric toothbrush provides you with coloured indicators if you are brushing correctly ie green for just right, blue for too light pressure and red for pressure which is too harsh. The only negative at this stage is that I seem to end up with toothpaste and water on my hand - I think it gets in past the brush and runs down the stem. I wasn’t expecting this but can certainly live with it in order that I brush my teeth properly.

Perfect electric toothbrush
Does exactly what i expected. Immediately noticed a difference in oral health. I am an aggressive brusher and this has really helped me control pressure on my teeth and gums. Only benefit of going the next model up would be clearer indicators of which setting your using, but i only really use the everyday setting so doesnt concern me.

I have used an Oral B electric toothbrush (the Pro series) for a few years now and my better half recently decided to get one too. The IO series brush appears to be superior to the Pro series as it is quieter, feels better in the hand and better shows if you are applying the correct pressure - it shows if you are using too little, too much or the correct amount of pressure via a coloured light. The 3 series does not required Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity and is a good price when on special. The charge in the battery lasts for well over a week. I/we highly recommend it.
