The numbers are nice and big, and the phone not hard to operate, however to shut her down at night and starting her in the morning is a bit hard as it takes a long time, not sure if there is any shortcut

82 year old mother unable to operate it, found it confusing
82 year old mother unable to add phone numbers, would press button too many times or not enough. Frustrated, she boxed it back up and said no thank you. Unable to return the item, or upgrade as it had been used. Despite there being none available in store for her to try first so had to order online. My good deed down the drain

Clunky and Difficult for Elderly To Use
Wnet from an Iphone 5 to this phone for Mum Thought it would be better and easier for her to use - its Ok but you need to be very quick to unlock phone Steep learning curve for the elderly On the plus side it has an Alert button which needs to be pressed 3 times to sound an alarm and text numbers you have pre-entered

Maybe a dud
I bought the phone for my elderly mother to replace a worn out Opel. So I was expecting good things with this phone. Overall, my mother found the buttons to be good and managed navigating the menu sufficiently for her needs. However, the phone constantly either doesn't connect on the first try or the call drops out within a few seconds of a call. It usually takes two or three attempts before she can maintain any sort of conversation. Nothing has changed in her environment and anyone else's phone works fine in her room. We are in the process of looking to replace this phone with a different brand and model.
