Q: Is the Oliveri SN1064 a topmount sink, and what does that mean for a replacement job?
A: Yes. The SN1064 is a topmount, also called inset, double bowl sink, so its rim sits on the benchtop rather than underneath it. That can make replacements simpler than undermount models, but the cut-out and cabinet space still need to match. Discuss with your plumber.
Q: Does the Oliveri SN1064 include a drainer area?
A: No. This Sonetto model is a double bowl sink without an integrated drainer, so the full width is focused on two washing and rinsing bowls. If you want a place for dishes to drain on the sink itself, a drainer-style model may suit better.
Q: Can the tap hole on the Oliveri SN1064 be used with any kitchen mixer?
A: No. The pre-cut tap hole is designed for sink-mounted tapware, but the mixer or tap set still needs to suit the hole size, sink deck space and rear bench clearance. Wall-mounted tapware is a different setup. Discuss with your plumber.
Q: Who makes the Oliveri SN1064 Sonetto double bowl sink?
A: The SN1064 is made by Oliveri, an Australian sink and tapware brand associated with South Australia. For buyers comparing brands, that means it is part of Oliveri's established kitchen sink range rather than a generic import-only model.
