Perfect for the cold weather when wanting a hearty soup or just a nice creamy soup. 5 minutes to prepare, with the automatic settings perfect for those who work at home that can let it do its thing while you do yours. Not as large on the counter top as I first thought it would be. Only downside the jug is fairly heavy and can be awkward when rinsing.

Good hot cold blender
Pretty pleased with it so far. I have made smoothies with no lumps so wont need my nutribullet anymore. I have made potato and leek soup from scratch in it too and again no lumps. I bought it to make baby food purees in it and i have been, its great for that. It can be a pain to clean but it does have a self cleaning function. Hope i dont regret not getting extended worranty and it lasts. It will be great for soups with winter coming up

Leaks and splatters
Features, have good features, but would have been good to have a timer that you can set for the manual functions. Product: disappointed that during soup and sauce making, although lid is fitted securely and water is way under the max line, during boiling, the liquid still bubbles and splatter out of the equipment both at top of the lid and leaks at the bottom. When blending beans for soup, the beans fall below the blades inside the blender and do not get fully blended into soup.
