Great machine easy to use easy to clean makes a very nice latte and machiatto would love more flavour options by Nespresso (or other compatible brands) pricey - but hope it will last a long time

Designers Forgot About The Users - not an improvement at all.
We purchased the Gran Lattissima as a replacement for pour Lattissima Touch Pro due to water leakage. The new model looks great and is quite stylish but it appears the designers forgot about the users in general useability. The machine makes coffee (great) and has many options (great) but we miss the display screen of the earlier model mainly because the buttons are hard to read for those without super eyesight. We have white buttons with white lighted text and is very hard to read. Not too much of a problem for day-to-day use but difficult when it's time to do other things like descaling. The earlier machine also displayed the need to descale on the screen but this one has a faint light flashing at the top rear - very easy to miss. To make matters worse there is no screen to give you instructions (as previously available) so I have to go online to get the instructions. The instructions in the manual don't work. Then there's the water container the lid is not attached like the earlier one making the job of removing, refilling and replacing fiddlier. As I said, it appears the designers forgot about the users.

Would not have bought the Gran Lattissima if I had realised there were so many parts to clean. My old Latissima was more efficient and easy to use
