Nice laptop
Pretty decent build quality and it has an amazing OLED screen. The only issue I've found with it is that if you push too hard under where the trackpad is it clicks.

Amazing Laptop
It’s a great portable size and really light for a gaming laptop, the screen quality is amazing and can run quite large games. It gets a little hot while in use but nothing out of the ordinary for a gaming laptop.

The Gaming Laptop everyone needs
I got the Msi Stealth Gaming Laptop to allow my son to be able to play games where he wanted to be rather than being in a single place using a console. He has been able to download Steam and XBox Live to enable him to access content from other devices. He said Doom had never been so clear.

At a glance
The MSI Stealth 14 is a slim mid-range gaming laptop for students, commuters and gamers who want solid performance without carrying a larger machine. Its standout strengths are the compact 1.7 kg design, vivid OLED display and versatile all-round capability for gaming and creative work. The trade-off is that the RTX 4050 is better suited to balanced settings than maximum-detail AAA gaming.

Things to consider
Compared with premium gaming laptops using higher-tier graphics, this model is better for balanced settings and portable use than for pushing the newest AAA games at ultra settings.
Aaa gaming suitability score
7.5/10 - Well suited to modern games at balanced settings, but not the ideal pick for ultra-detail AAA play compared with higher-tier GPUs.
Portability rating
9/10 - A strong option for gaming on the go thanks to its 14-inch format and 1.7 kg travel-friendly weight.
Esports performance score
8.5/10 - A good match for competitive titles where portability and responsive everyday performance matter.
Content creation suitability
Good for photo editing, design work, light-to-moderate video editing and mixed creator workloads, especially for users who value a vivid display and portability.
Cooling efficiency vs category
7/10 - Solid for a compact gaming laptop, though slim designs typically have less thermal headroom than thicker performance-focused models.
Key benefits
- 14-inch OLED display: Delivers punchy contrast and vibrant colour for immersive gaming, streaming and creative work.
- GeForce RTX 4050 graphics: Handles modern games smoothly at practical settings while also supporting creative and GPU-accelerated tasks.
- Compact 1.7 kg chassis: Easier to carry between home, class and work than many larger gaming laptops.
- 1 TB SSD storage: Gives you fast load times and room for a healthy mix of games, apps and project files.
- Wi-Fi 7 connectivity: Supports newer high-speed wireless networks for responsive online play and faster downloads on compatible networks.
- Broad port selection: Makes it easier to connect external displays, peripherals and wired networks without relying heavily on adapters.
- Core Ultra 7 platform: Provides strong all-round responsiveness for gaming, multitasking and creative workflows.
- Slim stealth-style design: Suits buyers who want a gaming laptop that looks more refined and less bulky in everyday settings.
Q: Can it run current AAA games at high settings?
A: Yes. MSI Stealth 14 can handle current AAA games well at balanced to high settings, depending on the title. The GeForce RTX 4050 6GB is not aimed at ultra settings in the newest demanding games or heavier rendering work.
Q: Will the slim 14-inch design get hot while gaming?
A: Yes. MSI Stealth 14 is a compact performance laptop, so it can run warm during long gaming sessions. That is a normal trade-off with a 1.7kg chassis, which has less thermal headroom than a larger, thicker gaming laptop.
Q: Is 16GB RAM enough for gaming, study and editing?
A: Yes. MSI Stealth 14's 16GB memory suits current gaming, university work, web multitasking and light-to-moderate creative apps. If you keep many heavy programs open or do larger rendering jobs, you may reach its limits sooner.
Q: Does it support a proper desk setup with wired internet?
A: Yes. MSI Stealth 14 includes HDMI, USB 3.2, USB-C and Ethernet, so it can slot into a desk setup with external accessories and a wired network. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for cable-free connections when needed.
Q: How much usable space is left on the 1TB SSD?
A: The 1TB SSD gives room for a solid mix of games, apps and project files, with fast load times as a bonus. Usable space will be lower once Windows, updates and recovery files are installed, so the full 1TB is not available for storage.
