At a glance
This premium fully integrated XXL dishwasher suits busy households wanting flexible loading, quieter running and less day-to-day effort. Its strengths are AutoDos detergent dispensing, fast QuickPowerWash cycles, a versatile 3D MultiFlex tray and a low 42 dB noise level. It is especially appealing for modern fitted kitchens, though the door panel is not included, adding an extra step and cost to installation.

9/10 - 42 dB is notably quiet for an integrated dishwasher and well suited to open-plan spaces.
Ease of use rating
9/10 - automatic dosing, app control and flexible basket design make everyday use very convenient.
Key benefits
- AutoDos with PowerDisk: Automatically dispenses detergent to reduce guesswork and simplify daily dishwashing.
- QuickPowerWash: Delivers cleaning and drying for moderately soiled loads in 58 minutes.
- 42 dB operation: Runs quietly, making it well suited to open-plan homes and evening cycles.
- 3D MultiFlex tray: Creates more usable space for cutlery and small items without taking basket room.
- ExtraComfort baskets: Improves loading flexibility for mixed dishware, including glasses and reusable bottles.
- AutoOpen drying: Helps dishes dry more completely at the end of the cycle.
- Miele@home with MobileStart: Lets you start and manage wash cycles remotely through the app.
- Hygiene 75 °C programme: Offers a hotter wash option for loads that need a more intensive clean.
Q: What does SCVi mean on the Miele G 7659 dishwasher?
A: SCVi means the dishwasher is fully integrated, so the controls sit behind the cabinet door for a built-in look. A matching kitchen door panel is not included with this model, so the final finish depends on your cabinetry choice.
Q: How long is this Miele dishwasher tested to last?
A: Miele G 7659 SCVi XXL was tested for the equivalent of 20 years’ service life. That test is based on 5600 wash cycles during development, so it indicates durability under controlled testing rather than a guaranteed in-home lifespan.
Q: Can QuickPowerWash wash a full load in under an hour?
A: Yes. QuickPowerWash is designed to clean and dry moderately soiled crockery in 58 minutes, including a full load. Heavier baked-on food may still suit a longer programme, because the fast cycle is aimed at everyday dishwashing rather than deep soaking.
Q: Will it hold wine glasses and reusable drink bottles securely?
A: Yes. ExtraComfort baskets include FlexCare Glass & Bottle support and glass holders, so this model is set up for stemware and reusable bottles. It is best for dishwasher-safe items only, because delicate finishes can still be affected.
Q: How quiet is 42 dB for an integrated dishwasher?
A: Miele G 7659 SCVi XXL runs at 42 dB, which is very quiet for a full-size integrated dishwasher. It suits open-plan kitchens and later cycles, though it is not silent and some water movement and draining noise will still be audible.
Q: What can the 3D MultiFlex tray actually hold?
A: The 3D MultiFlex tray is designed for cutlery, serving utensils and awkward pieces that can crowd the lower basket. Using the tray helps free basket space below, but very bulky utensils may still fit better in the main racks.
