Double standard price
Bought online, but when we pick up in-store, saw the dishwasher come with dishwasher starter pack, but check with Customer service, they mentioned only for in-store,not online, but I bought the same product and pay the same price. No next time.

It is amazing
It has all the features of most other dishwashers, however, after the cycle is finished it automatically opens the door leaving your dishes sparkling clean and dry. love it.

Cleans well
Overall quite happy with it. It fits all that we need comfortably. We don't love the control location and the cutlery tray is a bit cramped by the wide supports.

At a glance
This 60cm LG freestanding dishwasher is a strong mid-range choice for households of four to six that want large-capacity washing, quiet running and flexible loading. QuadWash, seven programs and auto door opening help with everyday performance and drying. It is especially good for fewer, larger loads. One limitation is that it does not offer the premium finish options or specialist rack systems found on higher-end models.
What it’s great for
- Large family dishwashing
- Everyday mixed loads
- Entertaining cleanup
- Quiet open-plan homes
Where it works best
- Family kitchens
- Open-plan homes
- Standard apartment kitchens
- Busy households
Who it’s for
- Families of four to six
- Busy households
- Home cooks
- Buyers upgrading from a smaller dishwasher
Things to consider
It offers strong everyday performance and capacity, but premium models may provide more advanced rack customisation, smart connectivity or specialised wash zones.
Family use suitability
9/10 - large 15-place capacity, flexible racks and versatile programs make it a strong fit for family-size daily use
Energy efficiency score
8/10 - solid 4 star energy rating and 5.5 star WELS water rating with 11.1L per wash cycle
Ease of loading rating
9/10 - adjustable racks and a height-adjustable cutlery tray make it easy to accommodate mixed dish sizes
Noise level vs category average
8/10 - at 41dBA it is quieter than many standard freestanding dishwashers, making it well suited to open-plan homes
Installation flexibility
Freestanding 60cm design suits standard kitchen spaces and is easier to place than integrated models
Key benefits
- 15 Place Settings: Fits large daily loads, making it well suited to households that prefer washing more items in one cycle.
- QuadWash: Multiple spray arms help reach more angles inside the tub for better coverage on heavily loaded baskets and corners.
- Adjustable Racks: Makes it easier to fit plates, bowls, glassware and taller items with less rearranging.
- Height-Adjustable Cutlery Tray: Gives you more flexibility to organise utensils and free up basket space below.
- Seven Wash Programs: Lets you choose a cycle that suits everything from delicate glassware to faster everyday washes.
- 41dBA Operation: Runs quieter than many standard dishwashers, which helps in open-plan kitchens and evening use.
- Automatic Door Opening: Opens at the end of the cycle to help improve drying results without extra effort.
- 4 Star Energy and 5.5 Star WELS: Balances everyday performance with rated efficiency, using 246kWh annually and 11.1L per wash cycle.
Q: Is this dishwasher a good fit for open-plan kitchens?
A: LG XD3A15NS runs at 41dBA, which is quiet for a freestanding dishwasher and suits open-plan kitchens or evening cycles. It is not silent, so in a very quiet room you may still notice water movement and drain sounds.
Q: Does the door open automatically to help dry dishes?
A: Yes. LG XD3A15NS opens the door automatically at the end of the cycle to release steam and improve drying. Plates, glasses and plastics can come out drier, but items may still be warm straight after the wash finishes.
Q: Are the controls hidden when the dishwasher door is closed?
A: Yes. The controls sit on the top edge of the door, so the front stays neat when the dishwasher is shut. The trade-off is that you cannot see the display or remaining time from across the kitchen during a cycle.
Q: Is this model better for larger loads than compact kitchens?
A: Yes. The full-size freestanding format suits standard kitchen spaces and buyers who prefer fewer, larger loads. It is less suited to compact kitchens or narrow gaps, where the cabinet footprint and door clearance can be harder to accommodate.
Q: Can it handle tall glasses and bulky cookware together?
A: Yes, in many loads. Adjustable racks and the height-adjustable cutlery tray make it easier to create space for stemware, bowls and larger cookware. Very bulky pots or tall platters may still need a rack adjustment or a separate wash.
Q: Which cycles suit quick washes and heavily soiled dishes?
A: For lighter loads, Express or Turbo are the practical choices when speed matters. Intensive is the better option for baked-on food and heavier cookware, because short cycles trade washing time for convenience rather than maximum cleaning.
Q: How does QuadWash help with crowded baskets and corners?
A: QuadWash uses multiple spray arms to cover more angles inside the tub, which helps reach crowded baskets and the corners of the dishwasher. It improves coverage, but loading still matters, and heavily stacked items can still block water flow.
