Excellent washer
Replaced a Bosch washer & couldn’t believe the difference. The clothes are much softer and not creased as much. The cycle is quicker and it seems to finish when it says it will. Was sceptical about the AI feature - but I found it to be perfect when the load is much smaller. Another big plus is the manual adding of the detergent and softener (previous washer has it automated and the clothes didn’t smell as nice as not enough product was used). One very small minus is that it got stuck when I put in a heavier small cotton blanket with the general clothes (I thought this would be a benefit to be able to do one big mixed wash as the drum is massive)

So much space for a great price. Wasn’t intending on purchasing on my visit to TGG on the purchase date - however the specs and features caught my eye and we were looking at a new washer soon anyway. Easy to use. No vibration and loud noises. Extremely easy with twist dial to use. Would buy again!

Good size but service issues
Size is good, minimal cycles but there's enough. but the rubber seal broke after 3 weeks. LG insisted it wasn't covered by warranty, argued for multiple calls. They sent a technician after I told them id called ACCC. tried ringing the good guys after the claim was received but they didn't come back. The technician said it was a design issue with the rubber shape. Even then had to chase the LG service centre. I wouldn't buy this again despite its great size for the price, if this is the hassle you get after 3 weeks what are they going to do later (i purchased a 5 year warranty.

Disappointed to say the least.
This 14kg machine fits less washing than my previous 12kg top loader (different brand). Cycle is twice as long as my old machine. quite noisy when filling up and it stops and starts numerous times. Smells like burning rubber after spinning. I’d give it away if I found something worth replacing it with. Good guys gave it a lot of glory which I personally can’t understand, though these salespeople most likely haven’t tried anything they sell 🤷♀️.

Does the job
For a family of six with at least two loads of regular washing per day as well as weekly loads of bedding and towels this machine will get a workout. At 14kgs this machine is bigger than my last 10kg one but I am already regretting not going bigger again. I will just have to make do with extra loads. The worst thing about this machine is the length of cycles. With so much laundry quicker cycles would be preferred.
