At a glance
The Nespresso Citiz And Milk Bundle is a compact capsule coffee machine for espresso, flat whites and lattes at home or in smaller spaces like caravans. Its strengths are fast 25-second heat-up, integrated milk frothing and simple programmable pouring. A fair limitation is that it is designed for Nespresso Original capsules, so it offers less brewing flexibility than bean-to-cup or multi-system machines.

- Quick Morning Coffee
- Espresso Drinks
- Milk-Based Coffees
- Small-Space Living
- Low-Fuss Daily Use

- Busy Professionals
Things to consider
This machine is convenient and compact, but it relies on Nespresso Original capsules and does not offer the customisation or fresh-bean flexibility of premium bean-to-cup machines.
Quick coffee suitability
9/10 - 25-second heat-up and capsule operation make it very well suited to fast daily coffee.
Variety of capsule compatibility
Nespresso Original capsules
Ease of use score
9/10 - straightforward capsule brewing, programmable flow stop and integrated milk frothing keep daily use simple.
Cleaning convenience
8/10 - removable drip tray and a used capsule container for up to 10 pods help keep maintenance manageable.
Compact kitchen fit
9/10 - compact, space-saving design is a strong match for small kitchens and caravans.
Key benefits
- 25-Second Heat-Up: The thermoblock system reaches brewing temperature in about 25 seconds, helping you make coffee quickly.
- 19 Bar Pump: High-pressure extraction supports rich flavour and a café-style espresso result.
- Integrated Milk Frother: Makes it easier to prepare milk-based coffees without needing a separate frothing appliance.
- Compact Footprint: Space-saving design suits smaller benchtops and tighter kitchen layouts.
- Adjustable Cup Clearance: The sliding cup tray fits small espresso cups as well as taller mugs for more everyday flexibility.
- Programmable Flow Stop: Lets you set your preferred pour length for more consistent coffee each time.
- Used Capsule Capacity: The capsule container holds up to 10 used pods before needing to be emptied.
- Removable Drip Tray: Helps simplify routine cleaning and makes it easier to maintain the machine.
Q: Does it use Vertuo pods or only Nespresso Original capsules?
A: No. This machine works with Nespresso Original capsules, not Vertuo pods. That suits buyers who want the smaller Original capsule format, but it does limit pod choice compared with machines that support a broader capsule system.
Q: Can it make lattes and cappuccinos without a separate milk frother?
A: Yes. The Citiz And Milk has an integrated milk frother, so espresso and frothed milk can be prepared without a second appliance on the bench. It is still a capsule machine, so it does not grind beans or texture milk through a steam wand.
Q: Is this coffee machine suitable for a caravan or small kitchen?
A: Yes. Its compact design and built-in milk frother make it easier to place in tighter spaces where bench room is limited. It still needs a stable surface and enough clearance to open the machine, fill the tank and remove used capsules.
Q: Will taller mugs fit under the spout on this model?
A: Yes. The sliding cup tray is designed to suit both small espresso cups and taller mugs, which helps if one household uses different cup sizes. Very bulky travel mugs can still be a tight fit, so mug height and width both matter.
Q: Can I save my preferred coffee length for everyday use?
A: Yes. The programmable flow stop lets you set the pour to a preferred cup length, which helps keep daily coffees more consistent. It is useful for repeat espresso or long black style serves, but it does not turn the machine into a manual brewer.
Q: How much day to day cleaning does the milk system need?
A: Routine cleaning is fairly simple. The removable drip tray and used capsule container help with daily tidy-up, but the milk frother should still be rinsed after milk drinks so residue does not dry inside and make the next use messier.
