Love the convenience of this charging desk mat
I bought this charging mat as a bit of a novelty and I had store credit to spend. But it’s such a beautiful touch to my work station - makes it look neater and structured. The charger for the phone and earphones are so handy as I work. The phone charger works regardless of my rather thick phone case in place and the magnet holds the phone very strongly. The roll out mat component is a good size. However, I don’t quite understand why the plastic top sheet of the mat is detached from the felt mat underneath. Would prefer if the mat didn’t have these two components to it that go out of wack sometimes as I work on the mat. But over all I’m very happy with the purchase.

Q: Does the Laser ChargeCore desk mat charge any phone wirelessly?
A: No. It is designed for phones that support Qi wireless charging, and the handset needs to sit on the charging zone built into the mat. Phones without Qi will need a cable, and smartwatches usually need their own charger.
Q: Can you keep a case on your phone while using the wireless charging mat?
A: Yes, in many cases, but slim non-metal cases work best. Thick cases, metal plates, card holders and pop grips can reduce charging efficiency or stop charging entirely, so the phone may need to be placed directly on the mat.
Q: Can this desk mat replace a normal phone charger for fast charging?
A: No, not always. Wireless charging is convenient for topping up at a desk, but it is usually slower and less efficient than a wired fast charger. It suits all-day trickle charging better than quick top-ups before heading out.
Q: Can you use a mouse on the Laser ChargeCore desk mat while your phone is charging?
A: Yes, that is the main appeal of this style of product. The mat gives you a work surface for a keyboard and mouse while a compatible phone charges in one dedicated area, so the phone should stay positioned on that charging spot.
