I purchased the Kitchena 9 Cup Food Processor (in Black Matte), just a perfect size for small, medium to large jobs.
The top section is very light to separate from the base, and the removable lid makes it very easy to empty.

Amazing quality great performance
I have a small home baking business and needed something to do the hard work for me, this makes my pastry , grates slices mixes and takes a good workout daily! and the cleanup is a breeze. Great attachments that do so many things i have yet to test. I have the Kitchenaid stand mixer so i know Kitchenaid are quality appliances. The service was amazing at the Good Guys, and we were helped by the most wonderful lady! The only problem i have encountered with it, is that it isn't pink!

At a glance
The KitchenAid 9 Cup Food Processor is a compact mid-range prep machine for everyday chopping, slicing, shredding and mixing. It suits couples and small families who want tidy storage, simple controls and easy cleaning for regular meal prep. Its main strengths are practical capacity, versatile attachments and bench-friendly size. The trade-off is a modest 250W motor, so it is less suited to heavy-duty or large-batch processing than premium models.

Key benefits
- 9 cup bowl: A practical capacity for preparing salads, sauces, dips and other everyday meals for households of two to five people.
- 250W motor: Provides suitable power for routine chopping, mixing and ingredient prep without taking up the space of a larger processor.
- Two speeds plus pulse: Gives simple control for coarse chopping, finer processing and short bursts when texture matters.
- Multi-purpose stainless steel blade: Handles common prep tasks like chopping and mixing with one main attachment.
- Reversible slicing and shredding disc: Lets you switch between slicing and shredding for vegetables, cheese and similar ingredients.
- All-in-one storage: Keeps attachments organised inside the bowl so parts are easier to store and locate.
- Dishwasher-safe bowl, lid and accessories: Reduces cleanup effort after daily use.
- Cord wrap in base: Helps keep the bench and cupboard space neater when the processor is not in use.
Q: Is the 9 cup bowl big enough for family meal prep
A: Yes. The 9 cup bowl suits everyday prep for households of two to five people, including salads, sauces and dips. It is better for moderate batches than bulk cooking, so very large prep sessions may need to be split into rounds.
Q: Can this food processor handle dough without being a heavy duty model
A: Yes, for small dough batches. The 250W motor and mixing function suit lighter dough tasks for everyday cooking, but this is not a heavy-duty processor for frequent large dough loads or dense mixture after mixture.
Q: Will the 250W motor cope with hard vegetables and cheese
A: Yes, for routine prep. The 250W motor with two speeds and pulse is designed for tougher chopping and mixing jobs, including firm ingredients, but it is not aimed at very heavy-duty processing or oversized batches.
Q: Is it closer to a chopper or a full food processor
A: It is a full food processor, not just a food chopper. KitchenAid 5KFP0921ABM can chop, slice, shred and mix using interchangeable attachments, while a chopper is usually limited to smaller-volume chopping and basic mincing.
Q: What attachments come with the KitchenAid 9 Cup food processor
A: KitchenAid 5KFP0921ABM includes a multi-purpose stainless steel blade and a reversible slicing and shredding disc. Those cover chopping, mixing, slicing and shredding, but a wider set of specialty discs is not included with this model.
Q: Do all the accessories store inside the bowl
A: Yes. This model uses an all-in-one storage design, so the main attachments sit inside the bowl instead of needing a separate container. The cord also wraps into the base, which helps keep storage neater between uses.
Q: Can the removable parts go in the dishwasher after use
A: Yes. The bowl, lid and attachments are dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup simpler after chopping, slicing or mixing. Dishwasher cleaning does not apply to the motor base, so only the removable food-contact parts go in.
