AWESOME REPLACEMENT
Love my new Kitchenaid Processor. Much lighter and more compact than my old one. Everything is stored in the processor bowl. No more looking for attachments. Everything is so handy and extremely easy to move around. Recomend highly if you want quality and an easy life in th kitchen. Chose cream to go with my Buttercup Yellow Mixer purchased last year.

At a glance
This 3.25 L food processor is a practical mid-range choice for families, home cooks and anyone who batch preps regularly. Its strengths are the large bowl, simple accessory storage, versatile blades and easy-clean dishwasher-safe parts. A fair limitation is that it offers two speeds plus pulse, so it is less finely adjustable than more premium food processors.

Things to consider
It is versatile for everyday prep, but the two-speed control is less precise than premium models with more speed options or specialist attachments.
Home chef suitability
High - well suited to regular home cooking, meal prep and dough tasks.
Ease of cleaning score
8/10 - dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup simple, though multiple accessories still need washing and drying.
Recipe versatility rating
8/10 - covers chopping, slicing, shredding, mixing and kneading for a broad range of everyday recipes.
Family use fit
Strong fit for families and larger households thanks to the 3.25 L bowl and meal-prep-friendly capacity.
Noise level vs category average
About average for a food processor - suitable for everyday use, but not especially quiet compared with the category.
Key benefits
- 3.25 L work bowl: Handles larger ingredient volumes for family meals and batch cooking with fewer stops to empty the bowl.
- All-in-one storage: Keeps blades and accessories organised inside the bowl so parts are easier to find and store.
- Two speeds plus pulse: Gives straightforward control for chopping, slicing, shredding and mixing across common recipes.
- Multi-purpose blade: Supports everyday chopping and mixing tasks without needing to swap tools as often.
- Dough blade: Helps prepare pizza bases and flatbreads more easily than mixing by hand.
- Dishwasher-safe parts: Reduces cleanup time after prep and makes routine maintenance easier.
- Wide task range: Chops, slices, shreds and kneads in one appliance, reducing the need for separate prep tools.
- 13-cup capacity format: Better suited to larger households or cooks preparing multiple portions at once than compact processors.
Q: Is a 13 cup food processor too big for everyday cooking
A: KitchenAid 5KFP1319AAC suits everyday cooking if you prep in family-sized batches or cook ahead. Its 13 cup, 3.25 litre bowl cuts down repeat runs, but the larger bowl and base make less sense for very small benches or quick single-serve jobs.
Q: What is the difference between the KitchenAid 9 cup and 13 cup
A: The main difference is bowl size and batch capacity. KitchenAid 5KFP1319AAC has a 13 cup bowl, while the 9 cup version is better for smaller quantities and tighter storage, so the larger model suits regular family meal prep more clearly.
Q: Can this food processor knead dough for pizza or flatbreads
A: Yes. KitchenAid 5KFP1319AAC includes a dedicated dough blade for kneading pizza base and flatbread dough in the processor bowl. It is designed for mixing and kneading, not for very large breadmaking batches that suit a stand mixer better.
Q: Do the blades store inside the bowl when not in use
A: Yes. KitchenAid 5KFP1319AAC uses all-in-one storage, so the blades and accessories can be kept inside the work bowl between uses. That makes cupboard storage neater, though it is still a larger appliance than a compact processor.
Q: Are the parts easy to clean after heavy meal prep
A: Yes. KitchenAid 5KFP1319AAC has dishwasher safe parts, which makes cleanup simpler after chopping, slicing or kneading. For dough or sticky mixtures, rinsing soon after use still helps stop food drying around the lid and bowl.
Q: Does it have enough control for soft and hard ingredients
A: Yes. KitchenAid 5KFP1319AAC has two speed settings plus pulse, so it can handle softer ingredients with short bursts and firmer foods with steadier processing. It is still a food processor, so texture can turn fine quickly if overprocessed.
