At a glance
Karcher Glass Cleaner Concentrate for Window Vac is a liquid cleaning solution formulated to remove stains, grime, and fingerprints from glass surfaces. Ideal for homeowners seeking streak-free windows and mirrors, it excels at quick, efficient cleaning with minimal residue. Its main limitation is that it is optimised for glass and smooth surfaces, making it less effective on deep carpet stains compared to specialist carpet stain removers.

Q: Can this cleaner be used on carpet or upholstery stains?
A: No. Karcher Glass Cleaner Concentrate is formulated for glass and other smooth surfaces, not for deep carpet or upholstery stains. It is better suited to windows, mirrors and glass tables, where residue and streaking matter most.
Q: Do I need a Karcher Window Vac to use it?
A: No. This concentrate is designed for Karcher Window Vac models, but it can also be used for manual glass cleaning. It suits routine cleaning on windows, mirrors and similar smooth surfaces when you are not using a vac.
Q: Which Karcher Window Vac models is this concentrate listed for?
A: It is listed for KV 4 Cordless, WV 1 Plus, several WV 2 models, several WV 5 models and several WV 6 models. If your exact Window Vac is not one of those named versions, compatibility is not confirmed for that unit.
Q: Does the Karcher concentrate need to be diluted before cleaning?
A: Yes. Karcher Glass Cleaner Concentrate is intended to be diluted before use rather than used straight from the bottle. That makes it easier to mix only what is needed for each cleaning session and avoid overusing the concentrate.
Q: Will it remove greasy marks and insect residue from glass?
A: Yes. The formula is designed to tackle stubborn marks on glass, including grease, insects and emissions. It is intended for windows and other smooth glass surfaces, so it is not the right choice for porous fabrics or carpet fibres.
Q: Is this suitable for shower screens, mirrors and glass tables?
A: Yes. Karcher Glass Cleaner Concentrate suits indoor glass surfaces such as mirrors, shower screens and glass tables. It is made for smooth surfaces, so use a different cleaner where soil is embedded into carpet, fabric or textured materials.
