Q: Will this film work with Instax Mini or Square cameras?
A: No. Instax Wide Film 40pk is only for Instax WIDE cameras and printers, including WIDE 400, WIDE Evo and Link WIDE. It will not fit Instax Mini or Instax Square models, even though they use the same brand.
Q: How big are the prints from Instax Wide Film 40pk?
A: Instax Wide Film 40pk produces prints that measure 108 x 86mm. That larger format suits group shots, landscapes and event photos better than smaller instant film, but it still needs an Instax WIDE camera or printer.
Q: Can I use this pack in older Instax Wide models?
A: Yes. This film is listed for Instax WIDE cameras and printers across the WIDE range, including older models. The key limit is format, not age, so it is for WIDE devices only and not Mini or Square units.
Q: How many photos do you get before needing more film?
A: Instax Wide Film 40pk gives 40 single-use prints per pack. Each sheet is used once, so frequent shooters may go through film quickly at parties or events, especially if you are printing duplicates from a compatible WIDE printer.
Q: Does this film handle indoor and outdoor shooting well?
A: Instax Wide Film 40pk uses ISO 800 film for reliable colour in a range of lighting conditions. It is designed to operate between 5 to 40 degrees C, so very hot cars or cold storage can affect unused film before shooting.
Q: Does the film have a coloured border or plain white?
A: This film has a classic white border around each print. It suits scrapbook pages, guest books and event displays where a clean frame is preferred, but it does not add themed colours or decorative designs.
