50/50
Easy to use but can be too rough. Bought for wife and first use made her feel worse but once she got used to it, it wasn’t so bad. Good item for those used to similar machines or had prior use. Not ideal as a starting out massager.

The features of this product were ok, but wasn’t overly happy with it as it wasn’t really able to be used on the shoulder

Neck massager does what it advertises to do, great features in heat option, massage option & shiatsu option. Can create some soreness if left too long at times

It stands out for its firm shiatsu action, added vibration and optional heat, plus easy built-in controls. It suits regular home use after long days or repetitive tasks. The main limitation is that it focuses on the upper body rather than offering full-body or app-guided massage features.

Q: Is this Homedics neck massager cordless or does it need a power lead?
A: It needs a power lead. This model is not cordless, so it suits use near a power point rather than moving freely around the house, and the cable is one trade-off if portability matters in your setup.
Q: Does it massage your whole back or mainly the neck area?
A: It mainly targets the neck and shoulder area. The shape and massage zone are designed for upper-body use, so it is less suitable if you want broad back coverage or one device for several body areas.
Q: How firm is the shiatsu action on this neck massager?
A: Homedics NMS-377HGY-AU is designed to feel firm and deep-kneading rather than light. The handles let you add downward pressure, which can make the massage feel more intense during use, especially if you prefer a gentler style.
Q: Can the heat setting run without shiatsu or vibration turned on?
A: Yes. Built-in controls let you use heat on its own or combine it with shiatsu and vibration. The warmth is designed as a comfort feature rather than a high-heat setting, and it can take a little time to build.
Q: Can you change settings while wearing the massager?
A: Yes. The controls are built into the massager, so you can switch between shiatsu, vibration and heat during use without taking it off. The buttons sit on the unit itself, which is handy, though some buyers may prefer larger controls.
