This watch has a great battery life! I currently average 8 days per charge. It seems to track metrics with accuracy (my last one, 4s, often missed steps) and I love the customisable screen. Also great that text photos also display on the screen. I'd recommend this one for a general user as it is a great balance between fitness tracker and smart watch.

Very easy to use and great battery life. Connects well with the Garmin Golf app. Is lightweight and comfortable to wear daily and provides good feedback on sleep quality. The only small drawback compared to the Fenix watch that I previously wore, is the Vivoactive has no audible alarms or audible countdown alert for intervals when running, just a vibration alert. As my training is less serious these days, it is not a big problem.

The Garmin Vivoactive 6 is a feature-rich fitness smartwatch ideal for users who want robust health tracking, built-in GPS, and a stylish design for everyday use. It excels at monitoring workouts, heart rate, and sleep, and supports both iOS and Android devices. While it offers excellent value and comfort, it lacks some advanced training metrics found in premium models.
Does not offer the advanced performance analytics or specialist sports features found in premium multisport watches.
Excellent for everyday fitness and health tracking, suitable for most users except elite athletes.
9/10 - Seamless syncing and notifications on both platforms, with minor feature differences.
9/10 - Lightweight design and soft silicone band make it comfortable for extended wear.
8/10 - Up to 11 days in smartwatch mode, above average for its class.
Blends sporty and casual style, suitable for both active and everyday settings.
A: Yes. The Vivoactive 6 connects with both iOS and Android using Bluetooth, and it can also use Wi-Fi for syncing. Smart features such as notifications depend on phone settings and app permissions being enabled during setup.
A: Yes. Its 5ATM water resistance makes it suitable for pool swimming and everyday water exposure, while built-in GPS tracks outdoor sessions like runs and walks. It is not designed as a dive watch for scuba or high-pressure water sports.
A: Garmin rates it for up to 11 days in smartwatch mode, which suits general daily wear with health tracking and notifications. Using GPS more often, a bright AMOLED screen and frequent workouts will shorten runtime compared with basic watch use.
A: It can do both. Along with tracking daily activity and GPS workouts, the Vivoactive 6 supports Garmin Coach, downloadable workouts and more than 80 sports apps. That makes it better suited to structured training than a basic step-counting watch.
A: Yes. The watch shows key data on your wrist, but Garmin Connect is where health and fitness stats are viewed in more detail over time. That matters if you want trends for sleep, activity and training rather than single-session snapshots only.
A: Yes. This model uses a 42.2 mm case with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display, so it sits smaller on the wrist than many bulkier adventure-style watches. It is a practical choice if comfort for all-day wear matters as much as fitness tracking.
