The Dyson V8 Advanced V8 is a very good vacuum (like all Dyson products that i know of) are better than any other vacuum i have ever used (including the useless Kirby) We now have 2 of them 1 with us the other with my mother-in-law who absolutely loves it.

We bought this to replace our old cordless vacuum which was playing up. The Dyson V8 is much quieter and we really like the new emptying mechanism which seems much better than the one we have on our 8 or so year old model.
