Original floor cleaner
The floor cleaner is very good and I highly recommend using this with any Dreamy vaccum cleaner. You'll notice the difference in mop as soon as you start using this. Please buy the original product as eBay and other websites sells a fake one.

Does what it says on the tin
From the POV of warranty, Dreame expect owners of their robot washer-vacs to only use their product. Mercifully it actually does the job. Also doesn't leave any smell. I'm amazed how much dirt gets taken off the floor. I run Dreame 2x per week. Our location is very dusty; the L40 does a wonderful job.

At a glance
This 1L Dreame floor cleaner is made for households using compatible Dreame robot vacuum and mop systems on sealed hard floors like timber and tile. It suits people who want simple, low-residue automated mopping with minimal fuss. Key strengths are easy robot-tank use and broad model compatibility. A limitation is that it is not intended as a specialist carpet stain remover or heavy-duty spot treatment.
What it’s great for
- Automated hard floor cleaning
- Routine mopping
- Sealed timber floors
- Tile floor maintenance
- Low-residue cleaning
Where it works best
- Homes with hard flooring
- Apartments
- Family homes
- Open-plan living areas
- Regular robot-cleaned spaces
Who it’s for
- Dreame robot owners
- Busy households
- Apartment dwellers
- Pet owners with hard floors
- People wanting low-maintenance cleaning
Things to consider
This cleaner is best for sealed hard floors used with compatible Dreame robot mop systems, so it is less suitable than specialist formulas for carpet spot removal, deep stain treatment or manual heavy-duty cleaning.
Pet & child home suitability
Suitable for pet and family homes with sealed hard floors, especially where frequent robot mopping helps manage everyday dirt and paw marks.
Stain removal effectiveness
6/10 - effective for routine hard-floor soil and light marks, but not designed as a specialist carpet stain or deep spot-removal formula.
Ease of application
9/10 - very easy to use in the robot's water tank with no manual scrubbing required for regular mopping cycles.
Odour removal score
5/10 - helps freshen floors through regular cleaning, but no strong odour-neutralising claims are provided.
Key benefits
- 1L Capacity: Provides multiple cleaning cycles before replacement, depending on your robot's tank size and how often you mop.
- Low-Residue Formula: Helps reduce visible streaks and build-up on floors and inside the robot during repeated use.
- Robot Water Tank Use: Designed to be dispensed through compatible Dreame robot mopping systems for convenient automated cleaning.
- Hard Floor Compatibility: Suitable for sealed timber, tile and other sealed hard flooring commonly found in Australian homes.
- Broad Dreame Model Support: Compatible with W10, L10 Prime, L10s Ultra, L10s Pro Ultra Heat, L20 Ultra and X40 Ultra.
- Surface Finish Care: Formulated to help maintain the look of sealed hard floors when used as part of regular mopping routines.
Q: Will this Dreame cleaner work on carpet or rugs?
A: No. Dreame Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner is intended for sealed hard floors such as timber and tile used with compatible robot mopping systems. It is not a carpet stain remover and is not designed for spot-treating rugs or fabric.
Q: Which Dreame robot models is this floor cleaner for?
A: Dreame Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner is listed for W10, L10 Prime, L10s Ultra, L10s Pro Ultra Heat, L20 Ultra and X40 Ultra. If your robot is outside that list, compatibility is not confirmed for this cleaner.
Q: Can I use it in a normal mop bucket?
A: No. This cleaner is intended for the water tank in compatible Dreame robot vacuum and mop systems, where the machine dispenses it during mopping. It is not positioned as a manual floor cleaner for bucket, spray mop or hand-scrub use.
Q: Should I use this instead of a generic robot cleaner?
A: Dreame Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner is the documented match for the listed Dreame models. Its formula is designed for low-residue use on floors and inside the robot, which is the main reason to choose it over an unspecified alternative.
Q: Does this floor cleaner leave streaks or residue behind?
A: Dreame Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner is formulated to be low residue, which helps reduce build-up on floors and inside the robot over repeated mopping cycles. It is best suited to regular maintenance cleaning rather than heavy-duty grime removal.
Q: How long does the 1L bottle usually last?
A: Dreame Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner comes in a 1L bottle. How long it lasts depends on your robot's tank size and how often you run mopping cycles, so frequent whole-home cleaning will use it faster than occasional maintenance runs.
Q: Is it suitable for unsealed timber floors?
A: No. This cleaner is intended for sealed hard flooring, including sealed timber and tile. If your floor is unsealed or has a delicate finish, it is outside the product's stated use and is not the intended match for routine robot mopping.
