Key benefits
- 20W USB-C Power Delivery 3.0: Delivers up to 20W charging for compatible phones and smaller USB-C devices.
- Single USB-C Port: Keeps charging simple for users who mainly power one device at a time.
- Compact Size: Fits easily into a bag, pocket or tight wall socket area for daily carry.
- Lightweight 80 g Build: Adds minimal bulk when travelling or moving between home and work.
- Slim 30.3 mm Depth: Helps reduce crowding on power boards and desk-side outlets.
- Broad Cable Pairing: Works with USB-C to Lightning for older iPhones and USB-C to USB-C for newer iPhones, iPads and other USB-C devices.
- Phone-Focused Charging: Well matched to users who want fast charging for phones without paying for higher-wattage hardware they do not need.
- 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty: Adds longer-term support for everyday use.
Q: Is 20W still considered fast charging for this Cygnett wall charger?
A: Yes. This charger supports USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 at up to 20W, which is the fast-charging level commonly used for iPhones. To get that speed, use a compatible USB-C to Lightning or USB-C to USB-C cable with a supported device.
Q: Is this 20W charger enough, or should I choose a 45W charger instead?
A: A 20W charger suits phones and smaller USB-C devices, including iPhones, where 45W gives little real benefit. Choose 45W only if you also need to charge larger tablets or a USB-C laptop, because this model is not intended for laptop charging.
Q: What cable do I need to use with the Cygnett PowerPlus 20W USB-C Wall Charger?
A: Because this charger has a single USB-C port, it needs a USB-C charging cable rather than a USB-A cable. Use USB-C to Lightning for older iPhones, or USB-C to USB-C for newer iPhones, iPads and other USB-C devices.
Q: Can this charger fast charge devices other than iPhone?
A: Yes, if the device supports USB-C Power Delivery, this charger can deliver up to 20W for compatible phones and some smaller tablets. It is best matched to low-power devices, not USB-C laptops or higher-wattage tablets that expect more than 20W.
Q: Why choose this Cygnett charger over a basic 5W or older USB-A charger?
A: Because it uses USB-C Power Delivery 3.0, it can charge compatible phones much faster than older 5W USB-A chargers. It also uses a compact GaN design, so it takes up less space in a bag or on a power board than bulkier older adapters.
