Powerhouse Charger That Delivers on All Fronts!
I recently purchased the Cygnett 140W GaN USB-C Laptop Charger, and it’s hands down one of the best charging accessories I’ve ever owned. From build quality to performance, this charger checks every box. First off, the 140W output is a game-changer—it’s more than enough to fast charge my MacBook Pro, phone, and ROG Ally X, all without breaking a sweat. First time purchasing and using GaN technology, it stays surprisingly cool while under load, The compact design also makes it perfect for travel.

At a glance
The Cygnett 140W GaN PowerMxx USB-C Laptop Charger is a high-output USB-C charger for laptops, tablets and phones that support Power Delivery. It suits professionals, students and travellers who want a compact charger with a built-in cable and strong charging power. Its main strengths are portability, simplicity and broad device support. Q: Will this charger fast charge a USB-C laptop and phone together
A: No. The fixed USB-C cable charges one device at a time, so a laptop and phone cannot be charged together from this charger. Its 140W output is intended for a single compatible device, not for splitting power across multiple gadgets.
Q: Can this replace a standard laptop charger with a barrel connector
A: No. This model is made for devices that charge over USB-C Power Delivery through its built-in USB-C cable. It is not a direct replacement for laptops that use a barrel-pin plug, magnetic connector, or another proprietary charging port.
Q: Does this charger add ports like a USB-C hub or dock
A: No. Cygnett PowerMaxx is a power charger, not a dock or hub. It delivers USB-C Power Delivery charging through one built-in cable and does not add HDMI, USB-A, Ethernet, card reader, or other data connections for accessories.
Q: Does 140W make it unsafe for phones or smaller USB-C devices
A: No. USB-C Power Delivery devices negotiate the power they can accept, so a phone or tablet does not draw the full 140W unless it supports that level. Fast charging still depends on the connected device supporting USB-C PD.
Q: Is the built-in USB-C cable removable or replaceable on this charger
A: No. The Cygnett charger uses a fixed integrated USB-C cable, so you cannot swap to a different cable length or connector type. It is convenient for travel, but less flexible than a charger with a separate detachable cable.
Q: How long is the integrated cable for everyday desk charging
A: The integrated USB-C cable is 1m long. That suits most desk, study, or bedside charging when the power point is close by, but it offers less reach than a charger that lets you choose a longer separate USB-C cable.
