Good product
The garage door opener is very easy to connect to Wifi and easy to install, the sensor took a few attempts to sync but once connected works well. Would surely recommend.

Great value and simple to install!
Best priced smart garage door opener with status sensor I could find. Easy to install with my gliderol panel lift door. The only way it could be better is to easily integrate with Apple Home. That said, using this through its native application is easy and reliable.

It is best for users with compatible sectional or tilt-style doors who want remote status checks and alerts. Key strengths are easy smart-home integration and no motor replacement required. A key limitation is that it does not support roller-style garage doors.

Q: Is this opener compatible with roller garage doors in Australia?
A: No. CSH-GOPN2-532 is designed for sectional and tilt-style garage doors, and roller-style doors are not supported. It suits buyers adding smart control to an existing compatible door rather than changing the full motor or track system.
Q: Will it keep my existing garage remotes and wall button working?
A: Yes. CSH-GOPN2-532 works alongside your current remotes and wall controls, so it adds app access rather than replacing the opener you already use. It is an add-on accessory, not a new motor, track or full door system.
Q: Does the garage need 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to use it?
A: Yes. This opener connects over 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, so the garage needs a reliable signal on that band for app control and status alerts. Bluetooth is not required, which helps if your phone is not near the opener during use.
Q: Which voice assistants work with this smart garage door opener?
A: CSH-GOPN2-532 works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control. Apple Home support is not listed for this model, so buyers wanting Siri or Home app control should choose it for Alexa or Google-based setups.
Q: What comes in the box with the Connect SmartHome opener?
A: The box includes the smart door controller, door sensor, cable and user manual. The sensor is part of the standard pack, so you are not buying the controller alone if you want basic open or closed status monitoring from the start.
