Yes — but only certain parts. Here’s a breakdown:
The cups, lids, lip rings, and many accessories are safe on the top rack of the dishwasher.
The blade / blade assembly generally should be washed by hand. The heat and detergents in a dishwasher can degrade seals and plastic parts.
The motor base (the “power” or “unit” base) is not dishwasher safe and should never be submerged or placed in the dishwasher. It should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Yes, you can absolutely make milkshakes with a Nutribullet — and it does a great job, especially with small to medium batches.
How to Make a Milkshake in a Nutribullet:
Basic ingredients:
Ice cream (dairy or non-dairy)
Milk (any kind)
Optional: fruit, chocolate syrup, peanut butter, cookies, protein powder, etc.
Steps:
Add milk to the cup first (to help blending).
Add your ice cream and other ingredients.
Screw on the blade tightly.
Blend for 20–30 seconds or until smooth.
Pour and enjoy!
Tips:
Don’t overfill past the MAX line.
Use slightly softened ice cream for easier blending.
If it’s too thick, just add more milk and re-blend.
The Nutribullet isn’t a traditional milkshake blender, but it’s more than powerful enough for creamy, smooth shakes — and cleanup is quick.
