Makes great sandwiches, holds enough filling, seals well and nice n crunchy. Only (minor) drawback is that heating and cooking time takes a bit longer. If only they made it in a 1200 or 1500watt model. But good overall.

I was brought up loving the Breville iron, and that love has continued through to my near 50 years of age! Perfect for a quick snack at home or at work, these things are severely underrated! I bought this one as it was calked ‘the original’ sandwich maker and I was hoping it would fit standard sized bread better than the big fill version, however, it still works best with bigger loaves of bread rather than the stock bakery sizes., which is why I removed one star. Also great for cooking a certain footy pie if defrosted beforehand and it slices it in two for you!
