Best ever
We use our jug on a daily basis, also have the one that came with our Breville coffee machine (basic jug) but this is far superior as it enables you to have the right temperature. So impressed that my recent purchase is for family members.

- Easy-Pour Spout: Designed for controlled pouring, supporting basic latte art.
- Dishwasher Safe: Simplifies cleaning and maintenance.

Q: What does the thermal indicator strip on the Breville the Milk Jug Thermal do in everyday use?
A: It shows the milk temperature on the outside of the jug as you steam, so it is easier to stop in the 55 to 75°C range Breville recommends. That helps reduce guesswork and can make texture and sweetness more consistent from cup to cup.
Q: Do you need a separate milk thermometer with the Breville the Milk Jug Thermal?
A: No. This jug has an integrated thermometer, so you can monitor temperature while texturing milk without clipping on a separate probe. That is useful for home baristas who want a simpler workflow and fewer accessories on the bench.
Q: Is the Breville the Milk Jug Thermal suitable for latte art?
A: Yes. Its spout is designed for pouring latte art, which helps with more controlled flow when finishing milk-based coffees. The jug supports the pour, but the final result still depends on getting smooth microfoam and correct milk texture first.
Q: Can the Breville the Milk Jug Thermal fix poor milk frothing from an espresso machine?
A: No. This jug helps monitor milk temperature, but it does not create steam pressure or foam on its own. If milk is not frothing properly, the cause is usually the machine, the steam wand, the milk used, or texturing technique rather than the jug itself.
Q: Is the Breville the Milk Jug Thermal dishwasher safe?
A: The supplied product details do not state that this jug is dishwasher safe. Because it uses a temperature indicator strip and integrated thermometer, hand washing is the safer option if you want to protect those features and keep readings easy to see over time.
