Breville Juice Fountain
We like the juice fountain, and are thrilled with it sending the pulp out of the machine. The juice fountain is so much easier to use than our first juicer.

Bad Customer Service Support
Recently I ordered this product online and it came without the Product Manual or any other documentation. I tried calling the customer service. At first instance, someone hangup on me and did not answer my questions. When I called again, after speaking to the customer service person for more than 20 minutes, I did not get proper resolution. Instead of Good Guys, sending me the documentation, I was told to either collect the documents from my nearest store and if they have spare, they will give me to return the product in the box and they will send me a new box 'hopefully' with the documentation. I did not find either of the suggestions worthy of my action and felt that the person just wanted to close the call and put the monkey back on my shoulders. Overall, I found this to be bad customer service experience. experience. As such, the product seems to be okay, I have used it only once!

At a glance
The Breville The Juice Fountain Cold is a fast centrifugal juicer built for households that want quick, large-batch juice with less prep. Its 2 L jug, 3.4 L pulp container and wide 75 mm chute make it practical for families and meal-preppers. Cold Spin Technology helps minimise heat transfer during extraction. The main limitation is that it offers only two speed settings, so it is less flexible than more premium juicers.
What it’s great for
- Large-Batch Juicing
- Family Breakfast Prep
- Meal Prepping
- Fast Weekday Juicing
- Whole Fruit and Vegetable Juicing
Where it works best
- Family Kitchen
- Home Kitchen
- Apartment Kitchen
- Meal-Prep Setup
Who it’s for
- Families
- Meal-Preppers
- Busy Households
- Health-Focused Home Users
- First-Time Juicer Buyers
Things to consider
It is designed for fast everyday juicing rather than maximum control, so buyers wanting more speed options or specialist performance for tougher produce may prefer a higher-end model.
Juicing variety suitability
Best for common fruits and vegetables, with good flexibility for mixed household juicing.
Ease of cleaning score
7/10 - dishwasher-safe jug and simple assembly help, though centrifugal juicers still need basket and filter cleanup.
Family use fit
Excellent - the 2 L jug and 3.4 L pulp container are well suited to larger servings and batch juicing.
Noise level vs category
5/10 - typical for a powerful centrifugal juicer, so expect more noise than slower cold-press styles.
Nutrient retention rating
7/10 - Cold Spin Technology is designed to minimise heat transfer, though centrifugal juicing is generally less gentle than slow juicing.
Key benefits
- 1250w motor: Strong power helps process fruit and vegetables quickly for faster daily juicing.
- 2 l juice jug: Large capacity suits families or batch prep without needing frequent emptying.
- 3.4 l pulp container: Holds more pulp so you can juice longer before stopping to clean out the bin.
- 75 mm extra-wide chute: Fits whole produce more easily, reducing pre-cutting and saving prep time.
- Cold spin technology: Channels juice through a stainless steel cutting disc and micro mesh filter to minimise heat transfer during extraction.
- Sealed juice jug: Designed to keep juice fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Two speed settings: Simple low and high controls make it easy to match speed to different ingredients.
- Dishwasher-safe jug: Makes post-juicing cleanup easier for regular household use.
Q: Is this juicer better for carrots and apples than leafy greens?
A: Breville The Juice Fountain Cold is better suited to hard fruits and vegetables than leafy greens. Its centrifugal design prioritises fast extraction, so spinach, kale and herbs usually need more feeding and may leave drier pulp than firmer produce.
Q: Can the extra-wide chute take whole apples and larger vegetables?
A: Yes. The 75mm feed chute is designed to take whole produce more often, which cuts prep time for apples, carrots and similar items. Very large, long or uneven pieces may still need trimming so the lid closes properly and food feeds cleanly.
Q: Will it handle batch juicing without constant emptying and refilling?
A: Yes. The 2L jug and 3.4L pulp container are sized for larger juicing runs, so you can make several serves before stopping. That setup suits family breakfasts or meal prep better than frequent start-stop emptying during a longer session.
Q: Is the sealed jug meant for storing juice after juicing?
A: Yes. The sealed jug is designed for refrigerator storage after juicing, not just for catching juice while you work. Breville The Juice Fountain Cold is intended to keep juice fresh for up to 3 days when stored in the jug in the fridge.
Q: How much bench space does the Juice Fountain Cold need?
A: Breville The Juice Fountain Cold measures 43 x 32 x 35 cm, so it suits most full-size kitchen benchtops without taking over the prep area. It is still a substantial appliance, so leave room beside it for loading produce and removing the pulp tub.
Q: How noisy is this Breville juicer in everyday use?
A: Breville The Juice Fountain Cold sounds like a typical centrifugal juicer rather than a quiet slow model. The 1250W motor is built for fast extraction, so expect noticeable noise when processing harder produce, especially during bigger juicing sessions.
