I upgraded this from Breville Barista Express Espresso. It is a great machine. It allows me to froth milk and pull shot at the same time. You can make a cafe quality coffee. at home easily. Happy with the purchase.

Love my coffee
It is great to have proper espresso coffee at home. This machine provides a reasonable facsimile of store cups of coffee. Some finesse is needed in terms of how much coffee to grind. Similarly, care is needed not to spill grounds. The milk frother works superbly well. We have a separate Breville grinder that works well once you get the quantity right.

Best Value by a Very Large Margin
Incredibly good machine for the price. Actually, it's an incredibly good machine for a MUCH greater price. Dual boiler with PID, manual pre-infusion (if you so choose), powerful steam wand, and very configurable. It really is the ultimate gateway pro-sumer espresso machine. Still relatively early days for us, but we are absolutely loving it. Paired with our Turin DF54 Single Dose Flat Burr Coffee Grinder, we are making consistently great coffee, from straight espresso/ristretto shots to various milky drinks.
