Breville 3D air curculatir
I found this to be to be perfect, the vertical and horizontal circulation works well. It is light in weight and very quiet when switched on. Maybe the cost is a little too high for so much plastic

Powerful Silent Fan!
Fan is amazingly silent yet delivers an exceptional powerful cooling breeze. Vertical up and down rotation is an awesome feature in addition to normal side to side rotation.

Fantastic Fan
Excellent fan - 9 blades means it can push through a lot of air when needed, but also whisper quiet on the lower settings. Great for a gentle breeze during the night. Oscillates both horizontally like traditional fans, but also can be set to go up/down as well. Air circulation function is good; it just takes a a few minutes for it to establish around the room. Base also tells you the current temperature in the room.

Q: How is the Breville Air Dynamic 3D Connect different from a standard oscillating fan?
A: It circulates air in 3D by combining automatic vertical and horizontal oscillation, with each direction able to run separately or together. That helps move air through more of the room, rather than sweeping side to side only.
Q: Is the Breville Air Dynamic 3D Connect better for whole-room airflow or direct personal cooling?
A: It is designed more for whole-room air circulation than a narrow personal breeze. The 3D oscillation and 9 blade setup are aimed at moving air around the space, while it can still be angled for more direct airflow when needed.
Q: Can the Breville Air Dynamic 3D Connect be controlled from a phone when you're away from home?
A: Yes. This model works with the Breville Home Connect app, so connected features can be controlled over Wi-Fi when away from home. That is useful if you want air moving before returning, but it does rely on a home network connection.
Q: Does the Breville Air Dynamic 3D Connect work with Alexa or Google Assistant?
A: Yes. It supports voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Home or Google Assistant. To use voice commands, it needs to be linked through the compatible app and connected to Wi-Fi as part of your smart home setup.
Q: What practical benefit does the 9 blade design give on this Breville fan?
A: The 9 blade design is intended to produce smoother, more consistent airflow from the motor and fan head. In practice, that matters if you want air movement that feels less choppy than a simpler fan while still circulating the room effectively.
Q: How long will app-connected security updates be available for this model?
A: Breville states a five year product support and security update period for this connected model, running from 4 March 2026 to 4 March 2031. That matters if smart control is a key reason for choosing this fan over a non-connected alternative.
