  Effective basic air filter

  I like the size and design of the air filter. It fits in the corner of my bedside table. The controls are easy to use - I have turned off the lighting with mine, but it offers some fun colours if that is your thing. I am finding less dust around which indicates it is reducing the airborne particulates. Mine has a ticking sound with the fan occasionally. It isn't very loud, but is very noticeable when the room is quiet (like bedtime). It does eventually go away. Also, I only use the "night" setting when I'm in the room as the low/med/high settings can get loud.

  Small but Mighty: A Great Air Purifier for the Bedroom

  I’ve been using the Breville Smart Air Viral Protect – Night Glow in my small bedroom, and overall I’m really happy with it. I suffer from hayfever, and while this isn’t a miracle cure, I’ve definitely noticed a difference — my nose feels clearer in the morning and the room feels fresher when I wake up. That alone makes it worth it for me. The size is ideal for a bedroom: compact and unobtrusive, without feeling underpowered. There’s a sleep mode that keeps the fan very quiet, which is great for overnight use. I’m not entirely sure how effective the filtration is in sleep mode, so my routine is to run it on a medium setting for 30–60 minutes before bed, then switch to sleep mode overnight. That seems to work well. One feature I didn’t expect to enjoy as much is the night glow — it has a variety of colour options and adds a soft ambient light that’s actually quite calming rather than distracting. Overall, it’s quiet, easy to use, and genuinely improves air quality in a small space. If you’re looking for an air purifier for a bedroom — especially if you deal with allergies — this is a solid choice.

  It is what it is..

  Supposedly it does the job though there's no real way to verify as the house already has many plants to clean the air.. Honestly haven't noticed any significant difference in wellbeing or air quality since use. Also did not use any external device to measure its effectiveness either. In fact ever since using it in the bedroom, I noticed that I tend to wake up more thirsty in the morning. It does have cool lighting features though which can be controlled from the app and can potentially help set the mood for those in need as well as serve as a calming night light especially with those amber colours. I do wish the app provided more detailed info regarding actual air quality in the room as advertised. It's very low power consumption is definitely a great perk especially with rising electricity costs. If you have allergies or a pet that sheds a lot, this product may actually work wonders for you in those circumstances.
