Nice package
The SSD is very fast to boot up and respond to opening what ever program we need to use. We do not run games so I can't comment on that. We have been an Apple Mac users for many years so we were familiar with the out of the box start up process which really is self explanatory and quite simple. The only negative is the step down in storage capacity, we have gone from a 1TB HDD to a 256GB SSD so some of our stored information is now running from a 1TB external drive, seems to work well. All in all very happy, if we get 10 years out of this iMac as we did with the old one we'll be very happy. Why did we upgrade, the old iMac was just starting to run a bit slow due to the HDD keeping up with the OS updates, nothing more than that.
