  So far so good

  Only had it for about 1 month so far. Both heating, cooling and drying (dehumidifying) are very good. Motor / outdoor unit is very quiet. Negatives are: 1) installation costing about $1000 through TGG, which wasn't mentioned anywhere, only at point of purchase. Would have been fair to advertise that somewhere with the actual cost of the aircon.; 2) extra cable and cable cover (about 3m) costing about $350 - overpriced, as the labour for the extra few metres would not have taken very long, and cost of materials pretty cheap; 3) Picture on all the ads is very different to actual aircon - it's very 'boxy' and looks old-fashioned, as opposed to the ad image aircon which is very streamlined. Overall, 5 stars given only because it works well and installer did a good job.

  Effective and Efficient

  Purchased as a replacement and installation was a breeze. Works well and the Wifi App to control remotely was easy to connect though it has very limited functionality. Had expected it to at least tell me the room temperature!

  Delivery was a mess :(

  This is not a review of the product, but rather of the service we received from The Good Guys. Firstly I spoke with a sales guy on the phone who told me that I could order the units online and they would be delivered the same week (week starting 2nd Dec). After doing this I received an email that stated that delivery "was available from the 17th". As I had already organised an installer for the 16th, I called them back up and was told by another sales guy that he couldn't change the nominated store as I had ordered online and used a gift card! As annoying as this was I accepted it as the Xmas rush and re-organised the installer. Then on the 16th I received an email stating, "Unfortunately, we've been advised of a supplier delay which will mean we can't deliver to you as quickly as we'd intended. Sincere apologies for the delay. If there's any further updates provided to us we'll let you know as soon as we can." So again I cancelled the installer who now advised me that he wouldn't be able to install until late Jan. We then heard crickets from the Good Guys until we got a cryptic sms on the 30th with an incorrectly formatted date stating that they tried delivery and couldn't get it done. I immediately called them and the guy said they could deliver the next day. It sounded like the units had just been sitting there. So our installer will be coming on the 23rd and we have been without the a/c for most of the hot season. Very disappointed.
