Product Overview

The 90cm Fixed Rangehood, White extracts cooking vapours and odours from your kitchen.

A 90cm width and slim 160mm profile make this Westinghouse rangehood suitable for installation under cabinetry or behind cupboard doors, fitting well in kitchens where overhead space is limited. Three multilayer aluminium micromesh filters cover the wide canopy area, helping to capture grease and simplify regular cleaning.

Push button controls allow you to select from three fan speeds, so you can adjust airflow up to 200m3/hr depending on your cooking needs. The rangehood operates at a maximum noise level of 63dB. Two 28W halogen lights illuminate your cooktop, while the auto thermal cutout safety switch adds peace of mind.

Flexible installation options include both ducted and recirculating extraction, with top and rear duct hole choices to suit your kitchen layout.

    Well made rangehood

I am happy with this rangehood, it looks good in our kitchen and works really well. We needed a re-circulating rangehood as we don't have a flu, this rangehood has both options. The light is also nice and bright.

    Great rangehood

Our house had a 90cm rangehood when we bought it nearly 30 years ago so we wanted to replace it with another 90cm hood. The one we bought was a good price, fit exactly and works really well. It is also much quieter than the old hood. Hopefully it will last as long

Things to consider

With maximum airflow of 200m3/hr, it is less suited to heavy frying or frequent high-smoke cooking than stronger premium rangehoods.

Small kitchen suitability

High - slim 16cm profile and under-cabinet design make it well suited to kitchens with limited overhead space.

Noise level vs category average

6/10 - up to 63dB is acceptable for a value fixed rangehood, though not especially quiet compared with some higher-end models.

Odour removal effectiveness

6/10 - effective for everyday vapours and odours, but 200m3/hr airflow is modest for heavier cooking.

Ease of installation score

8/10 - slim fixed design with ducted or recirculating operation and top or rear duct options gives installers good flexibility.

Energy efficiency rating

Not stated - no Australian Energy Rating star value is provided for this model.

Key benefits

  • 90cm canopy: broad coverage helps capture vapours across wider cooktops.
  • 160mm slim profile: fits neatly under cabinetry or behind cupboard doors where overhead space is limited.
  • Three fan speeds: lets you adjust extraction strength to suit gentler simmering or more active cooking.
  • 200m3/hr maximum airflow: provides suitable extraction for everyday light to moderate cooking tasks.
  • Three aluminium micromesh filters: helps trap grease across the canopy area and simplifies routine cleaning.
  • Dual installation modes: supports ducted or recirculating setups to suit different kitchen layouts.
  • Top and rear duct hole options: adds flexibility when matching existing cabinetry or duct paths.
  • Two 28W halogen lights: improves visibility over the cooktop while preparing meals.

Q: Is 200m3/hr strong enough for everyday cooking and light frying

A: Westinghouse WRF910WA suits light to moderate daily cooking, including simmering, boiling and occasional shallow frying. Its 200m3/hr airflow is more limited for frequent heavy frying or larger open-plan kitchens where smoke and odours spread faster.

Q: Can it be installed without ducting in an apartment kitchen

A: Yes. Westinghouse WRF910WA supports recirculating installation, so it can suit kitchens without external ducting. The documented inclusions do not name the exact recirculating parts, so confirm what is supplied if you need a non-ducted setup.

Q: How loud is this rangehood on the highest fan speed

A: Westinghouse WRF910WA reaches 63dB at maximum speed. That is reasonable for a basic fixed rangehood, but it will be more noticeable in a quiet kitchen than lower fan speeds used for simmering or general cooking.

Q: Will the slim design fit under cabinets with limited space

A: Yes. Westinghouse WRF910WA has a slim 160mm profile, so it is designed for under-cabinet installation or placement behind cupboard doors. It is a practical option where overhead space is tight, provided the cabinet width suits a 90cm hood.

Q: Does it vent through the top or the rear panel

A: Westinghouse WRF910WA offers both top and rear duct hole options, which gives more flexibility for cupboard or wall venting layouts. That can make replacements easier when the existing duct path does not line up with one position only.

Q: Is this the right width for a standard 90cm cooktop

A: Yes. A 90cm rangehood is the usual match for a 90cm cooktop, and this model's wide canopy is designed to cover that cooking area. It is less suitable if the space above the cooktop cannot accommodate a full-width hood.
