Awesome bbq
Weber spirit e425 bbq is an awesome trolley hooded bbq. Although the joule value of the main burgers are not that high, the bbq heats up really quickly. I’ve used it 4 times in the first 2 weeks for beef burgers, lamb cutlets and veggies, and the performance was great. Once heated to desired temperature, the bbq can hold the heat even you open hood several times. Note: you need to get universal LPG gas bottle. They are the same price as the older models, and are widely available at Bunnings. Just need to mention universal whenever swapping the cylinder. When making burgers, try not to let melted cheese melt drip down to be under the grill. It’ll be hard to clean. Areas for improvement: excess oil, eg from a dozen of lamb cutlets, may drip into the gaps between the lower holder and the aluminium plate. Also the edge of the removable lower body is quite sharp. Wear a glove when cleaning the surface after bbq. The wheels are a little clumsy. No big deal.

Great features and stylish looking
We are still learning about our weber and all its features. I love the temperature gauge as we are able to easily cook a roast. The size is great for a family bbq as it has 4 burners.. I love the fact that it should not rust, unlike our previous stainless steel bbq and that the gas bottle is hidden inside. However please be aware that it. comes in 2 very heavy boxes, you will most likely need a new gas bottle as ours wasn’t compatible and it took a lot longer than expected to follow the pictures to put it together.
