Great little performer.
We recently upgraded to NBN FTTP and needed a WiFi router upgrade to suit. After extensive research, I found that this one fit the bill. Compact, aesthetically pleasing and performs very well. All at the right price. It was a little bit of work setting it up but once that was done it connected to the NBN without a hitch. WiFi range is excellent. We have a large house and finally have a WiFi router that can reach to the farthest rooms with good reception. This unit is also mesh ready, so if the range was insufficient, we could easily add a separate mesh router. My son plays online games a bit and he's quite happy with the performance. All up, a great little performer.

Easy to set up
Very easy to set up the device and get online. The modem works very well with my 500/50 NBN and 10+ devices connected at the same time. I dropped one star because I expected a better coverage with 6 antennas, the fact is the internet speed drops to 80 - 90 Mbps when you move to the next room. This modem barely covers all parts of my mid-size 4 bed house. Still a good value for the money but if you are in a big house, you most probably need to go for mesh wifi systems.

Better than Optus Gen2 black router
No overheating issues, no disconnects, reliable, easy to set up, user friendly app and set up compared to the old Asus routers. But don’t expect magic even though it is a good product. I still ended up getting a compatible TP link wifi extender (not expensive cos my router is at the garage in front of house, and the signal drops by 1 bar at the back of the badly designed linear house. Extended not exactly needed, just I am OCD about getting full signal everywhere in this tiny house.

Work as intended
Decided to upgrade the router at our rental place and it made such a big difference. Definitely a big upgrade from a basic router that has increased range and signal as we are in a double storey townhouse. Easy to set up and also nice looking. Very happy with it so far.

Great NBN Router. Easy to use and monitor with app . Getting exact speed of 540mbps via ethernet cable on a 500mbps plan. Wifi range is really good and doesn’t lose connection. Way better than my previous vodafone router.
