Compact stylish and easy to setup
Great little unit and serves my purpose well. Easy setup and configuration and actually looks a little stylish compared to the standard black door wedges. Highly recommend.

Needed this to extend my network
We hav e a big house with concrete walls. Our annex had its own network which was a bit cumbersome, so had to purchase this. You hook it up to your existing network first as an additional access point. Then I placed it in the annex and hooked up the network cable. Whole house + annex is wired with CAT6 as well

It is especially good for busy households with smart devices, streaming, and general gaming. Its main limitation is that a single unit is better for small to medium homes than larger multi-level properties.

Well suited to smart homes with high device counts, including connected speakers, cameras, lights, and appliances over Wi-Fi.
Gaming performance rating
8/10 - good for everyday and casual gaming with Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet, though enthusiast gamers may prefer more advanced premium routers.

Q: Can this single Deco cover a large or double-storey home?
A: No. DECO-X50-SINGLE is positioned for 1 to 3 bedroom homes and coverage of 2,500 square feet from one unit. Larger, multi-storey or hard-to-penetrate layouts may need extra Deco units to reduce weak spots and keep roaming more consistent.
Q: Will Deco X50 work with my existing modem or router?
A: Yes. DECO-X50-SINGLE can integrate with an existing modem or router, so it does not have to replace the rest of your network. That suits homes upgrading Wi-Fi coverage first while keeping current broadband hardware in place.
Q: Can I add more Deco units later for extra coverage?
A: Yes. DECO-X50-SINGLE is designed to work within a Deco mesh network, so you can start with one unit and expand coverage later. That is useful if one unit suits the current home size but not a future move, renovation or room change.
Q: Does this model support wired devices as well as Wi-Fi?
A: Yes. DECO-X50-SINGLE supports wired as well as wireless connections, with 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports for devices such as a TV, gaming console or desktop PC. Port availability depends on how it is connected into the rest of your network.
Q: Is this suitable for gaming and 4K streaming at once?
A: Yes. DECO-X50-SINGLE suits everyday gaming and HD or 4K streaming in the same household, because Wi-Fi 6, OFDMA and MU-MIMO are built for shared traffic. It is less suited to buyers chasing specialist high-end gaming features from a premium router.
Q: How well does it handle lots of smart home devices?
A: DECO-X50-SINGLE is designed to connect over 150 devices at once, which suits busy smart-home setups better than older basic routers. Device count is not the same as equal speed on every device, so heavy activity still shares the same internet connection.
