Our house was designed with fibre optics and have a "box" which is at one end of the house in a cupboard. It is where all the cabling is and where the modem is stored. Access to wifi to 85% of the house works fine, but for the other 15% there is often a lagging problem. With the Tplink wifi extender, all the problems are solved, and now all the family can enjoy constant wifi for their entertainment.
