Review on order I haven't received yet
Delivery service and customer service is terrible. I ordered this product a month ago and still haven't received any update. It takes an hour to get to an agent and all they say they will follow up and that's it, nothing after then. Even TEMU and SHEIN have fast, effective and reliable delivery and customer service.

Room size suitability
Up to 18 m²
Portability rating
8/10 - compact design and multi-directional caster wheels make it easy to reposition around the home.
Noise level vs category average
7/10 - rated up to 51.9 dBA, which is reasonably quiet for a portable air conditioner, though still audible in small rooms.
Energy efficiency score
6/10 - 2.56 kW cooling is well matched to small spaces, but no Australian star rating is provided to verify efficiency against alternatives.
Ease of installation
8/10 - portable format is simpler than fixed air conditioning and suits apartments or rentals where permanent installation is not practical.
Key benefits
- 2.56 kW COOLING CAPACITY: Delivers targeted cooling for small rooms up to 18 m².
- Multi-directional caster wheels: Makes it easier to move the unit between rooms as needed.
- Three fan speeds: Lets you adjust airflow to suit daytime use, sleep or changing weather.
- Dry mode: Helps reduce moisture in humid conditions for a more comfortable room environment.
- Easy clean filter: Simplifies routine maintenance to help keep airflow and air quality in check.
- Programmable timer with auto power-off: Supports overnight use and helps avoid running longer than needed.
- Auto-restart with memory: Resumes prior settings after a power interruption for added convenience.
- Water level sensor and rear drainage: Makes maintenance easier during humid weather or regular Dry mode use.
Q: What size room is the Solt 2.56kW Portable Air Conditioner best suited to?
A: It is best suited to rooms around 18m², which is typically a small bedroom, study or compact living area. In larger or open-plan spaces, cooling will be less effective because portable units lose some efficiency through the exhaust setup.
Q: Does the Solt 2.56kW Portable Air Conditioner need to drain water?
A: Yes, this model can collect moisture during cooling and dehumidifying, and it has a rear water drainage point plus a water level sensor. In humid weather or when using Dry mode often, it may need draining more regularly than in drier conditions.
Q: Is the Solt 2.56kW Portable Air Conditioner quiet enough for a bedroom?
A: It can suit a bedroom, but it is not silent. The maximum noise level is 51.9 dBA, which is closer to steady background conversation than a whisper, so light sleepers may notice the compressor sound overnight.
Q: Does the Solt 2.56kW Portable Air Conditioner need to be vented outside?
A: Yes, like other compressor portable air conditioners, it needs its hot air exhaust vented outside through a suitable window or opening. Without proper venting, the room will not cool effectively because the heat stays indoors.
Q: What does the Dry function do on the Solt 2.56kW Portable Air Conditioner?
A: The Dry function removes moisture from the air, which can help a room feel less clammy in humid weather. It is useful when humidity is the main issue, but it is not the same as full cooling performance in hot conditions.
