Disappointed... I've been using SHOKZ for 3 or 4 years. These are the worst SHOKZ I have used.. Stiff and extra long neck cord does not fit comfortably. Collar, Neck pillows or backpack will easily slip these off your ears. If lying on side (eg: on airplane with neck pillow) these are uncomfotable and slips off ears. My bad - these are 'Over Ear' and not bone conduction which I usually use as I am deaf.

Bought for my son so I could have my headphones back. Easy to use, son loves them, easy to connect. I find these good as he can still hear me while listening to music

The Shokz Open Move are so comfortable to use, and the sound is fantastic, I absolutely love them and recommend. To be able to have your hands free and know that you don't have to constantly adjust earpieces is also comforting.

The Shokz Open Move is an open-ear wireless listening option designed for runners, walkers and active users who want to stay aware of traffic, voices and their surroundings. Its key strengths are comfort, sweat resistance and reliable everyday battery life. The main limitation is that it offers much less noise isolation and bass impact than in-ear premium earbuds.
Because of its open-ear design, it does not block outside noise, so it is less immersive in loud environments than premium in-ear noise-cancelling alternatives.
7/10 - good for awareness on foot and public transport, but the open-ear design is less ideal in very noisy commutes.
Strong choice for running and training thanks to the open-ear fit and IP55 sweat resistance.
2/10 - open-ear design prioritises awareness rather than blocking external noise.
8/10 - the open-ear style avoids in-ear pressure and suits extended wear for many users.
5/10 - Bluetooth 5.1 supports straightforward wireless use, but no specific multipoint or seamless device-switching feature is listed.
A: Yes. Its open-ear design leaves the ear canal uncovered, so it is better suited to hearing traffic, voices and other surroundings while exercising. The trade-off is more outside noise than sealed earbuds, especially on busy roads.
A: It sounds different because the open-ear bone conduction design does not seal out outside noise. Expect clearer vocals, podcasts and calls than deep bass, with less isolation and impact than typical in-ear earbuds in noisy places.
A: Yes. The IP55 rating means it is built to resist sweat, dust and splashing water, so it suits training sessions and light drizzle. It is not designed for swimming, shower use or full submersion, where water exposure is much higher.
A: Because it uses an open-ear design and has no active noise cancelling, ambient sound stays audible while you listen. That helps awareness outdoors, but it also means volume and bass can feel reduced in gyms, trains or other loud spaces.
A: OpenMove is the more budget-focused option in the range, with 6 hours per charge and an IP55 rating. OpenRun is the step-up model, generally offering longer battery life and stronger water resistance for more frequent runners or longer sessions.
A: It offers up to 6 hours per charge, with battery life depending on volume level and use. A full recharge takes about 2 hours, which suits commutes and most workouts, but it is less ideal for all-day listening than longer-life models.
