Adequate Replacement - I miss my Sharp Carousel!
My 11 year-old Sharp Carousel Convection microwave stopped working and I needed a replacement. As they don't make the Carousel anymore, I wanted something similar - a large microwave convection oven. This best met that need but it is not the same. It is much smaller and I don't think the 36L is a correct description because of the hanging heating element on the ceiling of the microwave, which uses probably a quarter of that 36L. I could stand up a family pack of microwave rice in the Carousel, now I have to lay it down. Using the Air Fry/ Convection oven function is fraught with danger as the metal shelf is quite high (even the small one) and you have to be very careful not to touch the red hot grill at the top. The function buttons are not straight-forward, as I have to consult the instruction booklet whenever I cook something. Too complicated for what should be a simple microwave or oven. SHARP - Bring back the Carousel! It was awesome. So much more economical than turning on a whole oven to cook one simple thing like a meat pie.

Love It!
The addition of the Air-Fryer function is great. I suspect that it is not quite as good as a stand-alone air fryer, but we don't have one to compare with. All other features are as typical for a Convection Microwave. Not sure about the fancy Smart-Cooking features, prefer to control things myself.
