Excellent Tablet with Great Battery & Display
I’m really impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ Wi-Fi 128GB (Grey). The battery life is excellent, lasting comfortably through long days of use without constantly needing a charge. The 12.4-inch display is bright, sharp, and vibrant, making it perfect for watching movies, browsing, or working on documents. The build quality feels premium, and I appreciate that it comes with the S Pen included, which makes note-taking and sketching very convenient. It’s also water and dust resistant (IP68), which adds peace of mind for everyday use. Overall, this tablet strikes a great balance between performance, design, and value. If you’re looking for a reliable Android tablet with a long-lasting battery and a beautiful screen, this is an excellent choice.

Great tablet
Moving to the larger Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tablet makes life so much better. Mah Jong, Jigsaws and other games are faster and easier to use than on my older tablets. Battery life is great, as is resolution

At a glance
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is a versatile 12.4 inch tablet for students, families and everyday users who want a bigger screen for notes, streaming and light productivity. Its included S Pen, long battery life and water resistance add flexibility on the go. The main limitation is that it is not as powerful as premium flagship tablets for demanding creative or high-performance workloads.

Things to consider
While it offers a large display and pen input, it is not as fast or as premium in performance as higher-end flagship tablets for intensive creative apps, advanced multitasking or top-tier gaming.
Student suitability score
9/10 - Large screen, included S Pen and long battery life make it highly practical for lectures, reading and assignment work.
Travel portability rating
8/10 - Slim and easy to carry for a large tablet, though the bigger screen size is less compact than smaller models.
Creative use fit
Strong for sketching, handwritten notes and casual creative work with the included S Pen, but not ideal for heavy professional content creation.
Family sharing suitability
8/10 - Well suited to shared streaming, browsing, learning apps and casual use thanks to the large display and durable everyday design.
Productivity vs entertainment balance

Key benefits
- 12.4 inch display: Gives you more room for split-screen work, reading, streaming and handwritten notes.

- 10090mAh battery: Supports up to 20 hours of video playback for long sessions between charges.
- IP68 water resistance: Adds peace of mind when using it around kitchens, commuting or everyday travel.
- 627g slim design: Makes the tablet easier to carry between class, work and home.
- Wi-Fi 6 support: Delivers faster wireless performance on compatible networks for streaming, downloads and cloud access.

- USB Type-C port: Simplifies charging and wired data transfer with a common modern connection.
Q: Is this Wi-Fi-only tablet okay for travel without mobile data?
A: Yes, but only if you plan around connectivity. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is a Wi-Fi model, so away from Wi-Fi you would need another internet source, such as a phone hotspot, unless your apps and files are available offline.
Q: Does the Tab S9 FE+ have an AMOLED screen or LCD?
A: Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ uses an LCD display, not AMOLED. The 12.4-inch screen is sharp for streaming, reading and document work, but black levels and contrast will not look as deep as on Samsung's higher-tier tablet screens.
Q: Can the storage be expanded for movies, photos and school files?
A: Yes. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ includes 128GB of internal storage and supports expansion with a microSD card. Extra storage is useful for downloaded media and larger files, though some apps still work best from the tablet's internal storage.
Q: Is it a good laptop alternative for notes and documents?
A: Yes, for lighter work. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ suits note-taking, document editing, web research and split-screen app use, but it still runs Android, so some desktop-style software and file workflows may be less flexible than on a laptop.
Q: How useful is the IP68 rating for everyday tablet use?
A: Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has an IP68 rating, which adds protection against water and dust during everyday use. It suits places like kitchens or travel better than a non-rated tablet, but it is not a cue to use it underwater or while charging.
Q: Can it handle multitasking and casual gaming without slowing down?
A: Yes, for everyday use. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has 8GB of memory and a 2.4GHz, 2GHz processor, which suits browsing, streaming, study apps and casual games, but more demanding 3D titles will push it harder than basic tasks.
