Great value you for money
This phone is actually better then expected The camera quality is up there with an iPhone 17 pro which my daughter owns. I was looking for an Android that was faster then my last phone which was an oppo. It by far exceeded my expectations and I'm so glad I purchased this phone. Also the colour "awesome lilac" is beautiful 😍

At a glance
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is a stylish mid-range unlocked phone for everyday users, students and professionals who want a big smooth screen, dependable battery life and solid cameras. Its slim, lightweight build and IP68 water resistance make it easy to live with day to day. The main limitation is that it is not as camera-advanced or performance-focused as premium flagship phones.

Things to consider
While it offers a strong all-round feature set, buyers wanting flagship-grade gaming power or more advanced pro-level camera hardware may be better served by a premium model.
Global travel suitability
High - unlocked design with Dual SIM, eSIM, 5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth makes it well suited to travel and flexible carrier use
Student vs business fit
Balanced for both, with a slight edge to students and everyday business users thanks to its large display, long battery life and Dual SIM flexibility
Camera performance score
8/10 - strong everyday photo and video performance with 50MP rear camera and 4K recording, though not as advanced as premium camera phones
Battery endurance rating
9/10 - 5000mAh battery offers excellent all-day stamina and can stretch to up to two days with lighter use
Key benefits
- 6.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus display: Large, vibrant screen makes streaming, reading and browsing easier and more immersive.
- 120Hz refresh rate: Smoother scrolling and more fluid animations help the phone feel faster in everyday use.
- 50MP rear camera: Captures detailed everyday photos with enough resolution for sharing, cropping and casual creative use.
- 12MP front camera: Well suited to selfies, video calls and social content creation.
- 4K video recording: Lets you record sharper home videos and travel clips with clear detail.
- 5000mAh battery: High-capacity battery supports up to two days of use between charges for lighter users.
- IP68 water resistance: Adds peace of mind around rain, splashes and day-to-day accidents.
- Dual SIM with eSIM support: Gives you flexible options for work and personal numbers or travel connectivity.
Q: Does the Galaxy A57 5G support Dual SIM and eSIM?
A: Yes. Samsung Galaxy A57 5G supports Dual SIM and eSIM, which suits separate work and personal numbers or travel use. 5G access still depends on your mobile plan, local coverage and whether your carrier supports eSIM on your service.
Q: Is 128GB enough storage for everyday photos, apps and videos?
A: Yes, for most users. Samsung Galaxy A57 5G with 128GB suits everyday apps, messages, photos and offline media, but heavy 4K video recording and large game installs will fill it faster than a higher-capacity phone.
Q: Can this phone handle gaming and multitasking without feeling slow?
A: Yes, for everyday use. The 120Hz display and 8GB memory help scrolling, app switching and casual gaming stay smooth, but this is a mid-range phone rather than a model built for sustained high-end gaming loads.
Q: Will the main camera cope with low light and handheld shots?
A: Samsung Galaxy A57 5G uses a 50MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation, which helps keep handheld photos and video steadier. It is well suited to everyday shooting, but it is not pitched as a pro-level camera phone.
Q: How water resistant is the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G?
A: Samsung Galaxy A57 5G has an IP68 rating, so it is built to handle rain and splashes in day-to-day use. Water resistance is not permanent protection against every liquid exposure, and the phone should be dry before charging.
Q: What AI features does the Galaxy A57 5G include?
A: Samsung Galaxy A57 5G includes Circle to Search, Object Eraser, Best Face and Edit Suggestion tools. These features help with finding information and tidying photos, but they do not replace the broader app and camera controls of premium models.
